I teach students how to belt in a healthy way, and also work on "the mix" used to successfully belt throughout your range, in order to avoid the break between "chest" and "head" voice. I have a lot of experience singing and teaching Musical Theater, I was a member of Studio East in Bellevue, Wa, as well as part of the Musical Theater department at The San Francisco Conservatory of Music. I have played Rapunzel in Into the Woods, Beth in Little Women, Golde in Fiddler on the Roof, and Various characters in the musical Quilters.

Over time my goal is to work toward auditioning for local theaters in the Seattle area, building repertoire as well as the working on the "audition package". If you are a student in school, I will also prepare and encourage auditions for the school musicals, and plays.

About Jordan

Lesson Details/Services: Singing/Audition and Resume Coach: Lessons begin with stretching, vocal warm ups, scales, and extensive breath work, as well as resolving any tensions that may be hindering your vocal production. I then through collaboration with the student, work on beginning repert

Jordan is very skilled in Opera, Voice, and Teaching. She at once puts you at ease and quickly empowers you with knowledge and new skills. Although it may feel like baby-steps, you can hear and feel changes in your voice almost immediately . Studying Opera Voice is a long road of very hard work, so much to remember. There is a reason 4 year degrees are offered in it. But it is well worth it for those who have the stamina.

Jordan is very experienced and knowledgeable, I watched as she worked with me. She has an amazing ear. she hears nuances of differences in the slightest tone difference and can tell just what to do to help you sound wonderful. Looking forward to going back.
Thanks Jordan

Taylor is extremely easy to work with and very talented in her ability to advise and challenge you to grow. She's willing to work with you to define goals and help you get there through actionable practice and advising she's learned throughout her career. An important aspect is capturing the reason you need music in the first place and she goes beyond just being a voice teacher and into being a coach/partner to help you achieve your unique goals with music. I've become more confident with my singing which she is able to help me understand requires different skills than just direct vocal practice. I'm excited to continue to learn from her!

Jennifer is an incredible voice teacher! She brings an expertise & knowledge to many aspects of singing. My daughter is not a natural born singer and through lessons, Jenn was able to bring out a voice and presence that I had no idea was in there! Those lessons helped my daughter get cast as Annie - in Annie! That wouldn't have happened without the help of Jennifer! As for me, I have always had problems with my voice. I lose my voice often and my throat is constantly in pain. The training that I received from Jenn helped me learn to breathe and speak correctly. I no longer have the problems with my voice and throat that I used to. I am thankful for that training! Jenn is awesome and I can't recommend her training enough!!!!!!
Nick
I can honestly say that if i hadn’t studied under Jenn i wouldn’t physically be able to sing today. I came under her tutelage almost 6 years ago and she helped correct some bad techniques I had been taught in the past. I was raw and trying to produce sound by forcing things with my throat muscles; if it weren’t for her I’d probably be suffering from vocal nodules or something worse.

Jenn is smart, empathetic and honest. If she makes you a promise to help you reach a vocal or professional goal, she sees it through. She’ll also make a point of getting to know her students which makes learning from her easy and safe!

I started off a vocally raw kid from California and she helped pave the way for me to become a working Actor & vocalist in New York. I owe so much to this woman. I wish I could give her a higher ranking than 5 stars
Kelsey
Jennifer really knows what she is doing, her experience and own personal talent speak volumes. I personally am NOT a natural born singer but with Jennifer's lessons I was able to hold my own in ensembles and even a couple small solo parts. She provides not only knowledge but inspires confidence in all of her students and truly wants them to succeed.

Eleanor is an Amazing vocal coach and singer! I absolutely loved working with her! She laid the foundation for my singing- teaching me correct posture and support, placement, and interpretation of musical styles. Eleanor’s warm and caring demeanor, her encouragement and support made her a joy to work with! Her passion for singing and teaching and her commitment to my progress were obvious. I HIGHLY recommend Eleanor as a vocal coach! Her extensive knowledge and experience make her a valuable asset for any level singer, from beginner to professional.

I had an amazing experience taking lessons from Eleanor. She gave me clear exercises that I could work on between lessons and increased my music theory without ever making me feel like I was unaware or incapable. She is firm and realistic about practice with her and on my own so I felt like I had goals I could reach and goals I wanted to reach before our next lesson. You can tell she has a lot of experience in music, voice, and teaching as she gives background and explanations for why and how these exercises and practices are important for your particular voice. Lessons with her were always fun and informative without feeling stressful which helped my confidence in my own voice as well. I have background and training in music, but would recommend her to anyone at any level because of her experience, training, and welcoming personality.

Eleanor is an absolutely amazing vocal coach, and person. Through years of training, I learned so much about vocal skill and health. She encouraged a broad variety of musical genres, which ultimately helped me to find a style that best fit my voice, as well as appreciation for styles that I may not have chosen myself. She is positive & encouraging and pours her heart into her students. I highly recommend her!

My favorite thing as a child was watching musicals, especially the classic ones. I performed in many musicals when I was younger and absolutely love this style of music.

About Glynis

Glynis has been reading music since before she knew how to read words. Her mother started teaching her piano lessons at age 3, and she started taking voice lessons at age 7. She learned from an early age to practice every day. She has taught all levels and ages of piano and voice for many years. Gl
