Want to make your own garments? Want to finally understand cables, lace, charts, reading patterns and even designing your own patterns? Interested in modifying a pattern to fit your unique shape? I can teach you these along with all the details it takes to create a truly beautiful hand-knitted item.

Hi, and welcome to the world of knitting. It is a joy to me to teach people this wonderfully creative and useful craft. I have been knitting, spinning, and working with fiber since 2002, and have had unique patterns published in international knitting magazines, such as Interweave Knits. I have taught knitting to classes and individuals since 2008. Additionally, I have an art degree, which helps me help you design and choose yarn for your perfect project whether it's a simple scarf or a complex fair-isle sweater.

I believe fundamentals and working hands-on is the only way to truly master a technique so all of my lessons are in person for now. I am happy to host you or travel to ...

I know the basics of knitting, and can teach how to work with simple patterns for hats, scarves, blankets. . .and could also teach beginner or intermediate macrame'. I'm listing it here within the closest available category. I've made macrame' friendship bracelets, necklaces, bracelets, belts, purses and wall hangings.

My daughter 7yrs took lessons from Karen for 8 months. She was so patient and kind. My girl loved her and her teaching style.
I would have given 5 stars if she had got a real piano, not an electronic one.

Karen is not only a gifted teacher but an excellent listener and has an extremely easy going personality. This was my third lesson and I already "feel the love."

Having been a professional instructor for almost 20 years, I teach a form of Astrology that is termed "Western Vedic Astrology." This system uses both the modern Western Greek/Persian methods combined with the ancient original ancient East Indian Vedic methods. In this way the student, in a short period of time learns to evaluate a person beyond mundane psychology to the psycho-spiritual level.

The fusion of both systems creates makes astrology inspiring, fulfilling and enjoyable to learn because it is encompassing, fun and enlightening to the student. The outcome is an understanding of the planets and the cosmos at a deeper level than ordinary Astrology can afford.

The purpose and outcome of learning Western Vedic Astrology is to become a well trained and knowledgeable astrologer who not only able to assess the present and understand the past, but able to see the future as well.

About Deva

My serious Vedic astrological and spiritual education began some decades ago. I follow my intuition and try to be analytical at the same time. My karmas and desires compel me to act, just like anyone else. However, we are not only a ball of feelings and desires. We possess a mind and intelligence

Deva Roberts is an awesome astrologer! I've had my chart done twice before and this one was by far the most thorough and helpful. Deva is brilliant! I'm very grateful that I found him to do my chart during this challenging time of my life. I now have more clarity and direction.

Having lived in India for 8 years, I've visited many astrologers. Most of them gave bad advice or incorrect predictions. When Deva did my chart, I was a little skeptical at first. Then I realized, that he wasn't here to predict my future like a fortune teller but guide me on the right path instead. He is an astrologer and life coach in one. After taking his classes, I now have a better sense of direction in my life. His strategy has helped me become more self-aware and become more accepting of myself.
Deri
I have been a student of Deva’s for about a year now, I take lessons with him in person. Deva has helped deepen my understanding of astrology immensely! I have learned so much from him and have excelled greatly in my astrology practice. I recommend taking classes with him if you are serious about learning astrology. Astrology is very intricate and it takes years to learn. I have found that taking lessons in person has helped me learn faster and understand things deeper than studying by myself. Or even taking classes online, as long as there is a teacher involved to talk to and provide guidance and insight. Deva is a great teacher! He is very knowledgeable and intuitive, which is perfect because astrology is both a science and an art, it takes both knowledge and intuition.
