“After decades of thinking I'd lost my ability to sing, I learned how to finally sing utilizing my diaphragm while studying with Marye! She helped me locate my vocal range, which was huge, while making it feel so inclusive and safe! The joy of singing has returned to my life through Marye's skilled, sensitive and sweetly cultivated music space.”

Bebé is one of the best voice teachers I have ever had. I have had a few instructors who just run you through exercises and make you sing random songs, but Bebé takes the time to explain everything very thoroughly. She is very respectful and very flexible when it comes to scheduling. All you have to do is communicate any concerns with her and she makes sure to go out of her way to accommodate all of your needs. I have enjoyed every lesson that I have had with her and even on days where I don’t have the energy, she always finds a way to prep me up. I couldn’t have asked for a better teach and my voice has grown so much. I find it way easier to sing and hit notes that I had trouble with when first starting off. I recommended her to a few of my friends and will continue to do so to anyone looking for an experienced and amazing teacher.

The Ukulele is such a fun instrument to play. It's a small instrument with a big sound. There is actually 4 different sizes you can choose from: Soprano, Concert, Tenor, and Baritone. The first 3 have the same string arrangement which is
G, C, E, A, and the Baritone is D, G, B, E, which is the same tuning as the first 4 strings on a guitar. Soprano is the smallest and the Baritone is the largest. If you want the true Hawaiian sound you need the Soprano. If you have really big hands or thick fingers you might want to go with the Concert or Tenor size so it will be easier to play.

They are very affordable instruments. The one I have is a Fender U Uke it was around 109.00. It's easier then guitar because you don't have to press down as hard on the strings.

Some of my favorite Ukulele players and bands that incorporate it are Jack Johnson, Brian May from Queen, Beach Boys, Elvis, Israel Iz, and many more.

I teach beginner to intermediate level for single and group lessons.

About Christian

Music is my passion. I've been playing music since I was a child but didn't get serious with it until I was 14, that's when I got my first electric guitar. So, from then on I've been playing and studying music for over 16 years. I play and teach guitar, piano, drums, and bass guitar. Aside from taki

I enjoyed learning from Christian today. I am 70 years old and did not feel out of place. He made me comfortable and he is very knowledgeable about how to go about teaching. He was very polite and patient with me and was able to go over things and explain professionally in a manner that did not insult my intelligence. He seems dedicated to teaching and does it very well .
I highly recommend this man to anyone that wants to learn how to play the Piano.

Christian has been top-notch in every way I could hope for. His communication prior to and after the lesson has been stellar, taking time to prep me then follow up with thorough, well written tips and details. (It's clear that he values the student's time as much as his own, and seeks to make the experience individualized and worthwhile for those he teaches.) The lesson itself was spot-on, being well balanced in both fun and degree of challenge. Feel very fortunate to have found him!

Christian easily connects with my teenage son. He is professional while at the same time relaxed and easy-going. He stresses the importance of learning the basics but there is no high pressure. He strives to teach music that is interesting to my son and that challenges him. He does a great job of explaining things. We are happy we chose Christian as our teacher.

He is well versed in a variety of musical topics which facilitated my transition from playing the piano to the ukulele.
