I've been teaching French for 17 years and my students have gone on to develop a deep love of French culture, study abroad in France, and more! Within the first few lessons, you'll start speaking simple sentences and as time goes on, you'll be able to conjugate like a pro! I also specialize in French literature, typically use the Living Language books. I love working with students of all experience levels and j'ai hate de faire votre connaissance!

About Antoine
Hi, there! My name is Antoine and I am a native French speaker. I work as a freelance editor, journalist, translator, writer and teacher. I have had a distinguished career as a journalist for more than 10 years in Africa and Europe. In particular, I have worked in several radio stations, television, print media, and business. I am also a published author. I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication and a Master’s in Business Administration from University of Nice, France. Since 1998, I have been teaching private French lessons. I enjoy having fun with my students.
I like playing soccer, volley ball, and riding bikes. One day in the summer of 2013, I rode from Redmond to Seattle round trip for more than 4 hours. I was exercising a lot in order to lose weight for my wedding in Paris that summer. Well, I succeeded. I was very handsome that
day in Paris. Now, my wife and I are enjoying life under the cloudy, but blessed sky of Seattle.
I meet with my students at the public library in Redmond, WA. I look forward to helping you reach your goals!

"Bonjour" and "Bievenue" to French tutoring! As an international singer, I can teach you the ins and outs of French so that you sound like a local, and can keep up in class or when you study abroad. We'll work on grammar, making up your own sentences, practicing conversations, and improving your pronunciation so you sound like a true francophone.

About Nicole
Nicole is available to teach lessons for students of all levels. Beginning her singing career when she was 7, she most recently sang at the Lyric Opera of Chicago, was a winner of the international CS Competition in musical theatre, and is a Chicago F.A.M.E. finalist for Jazz and popular music. Combined with her training and professional experience, Nicole teaches singers to switch gracefully between multiple styles. She practices what she preaches: one night she might be singing Beyoncé, and the next morning she might be singing Handel's Messiah!

Nicole has been a young artist for Cedar Rapids Opera Theatre, Metropolitan International Music Festival, and for Tiroler Opern Programm, under international instructors, including Elizabeth Bachman (from the Metropolitan Opera), Kim Josephson (Metropolitan Opera), Sharon Cheng (Caramoor),
Michael Fennely (Carnegie Hall), Wei-En Hsu (Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra), and Candace Evans (Santa Fe Opera). Nicole earned her Associates in Theatre from Brigham Young University ('12) and went on to acquire her BM in Vocal Performance from Illinois Wesleyan University ('14). Nicole obtained additional training from Boston University, Elon University, and the University of Alaska Anchorage.
