Basic Math is a simple set of rules that must be learned and memorized. I'm a professional teacher with a unique ability to perceive what students understand and how they understand, which I use to efficiently build students' knowledge, saving them both time and money.
About Joshua
I am a tutor who earned a music teaching degree, substitute taught, and didn't become a school teacher. I held professional tech retail jobs and am supplementing my life with my passion - education. Whatever subject or instrument I teach, I celebrate students' successes; and I enjoy helping lear

Book NowCreative Writing is a passionate subject for me. I studied Creative Writing at Dartmouth College, where I obtained my Master's, and published my thesis of a collection of fiction short stories.
Creative Writing doesn't have rules, although there are guidelines. I am an advocate of showing and not telling, creating characters, setting scenes, and using smooth, fluent language to engage readers as we experiment with words and style and complex emotions.
About Niusha
As a teacher, I try to cater each class to my student's individual needs and interests. Being bilingual myself, I am a strong believer that language and culture (and food!) are intertwined, and to learn any language, it is best to immerse oneself as deeply as possible. I started teaching ESL in

As a tutor for over 6 years, my lessons revolve around getting my student to understand what they are learning above all else. Lessons typically begin by working through various different problems, from homework to workbooks, and finding where difficulties with understanding arise. We will then work through these problems to make important connections that explain how to solve the problem. I really focus on visual learning and emphasizing real world connections in order to explain problems in a way that my students can understand them.
About Halec
Hello! My name is Halec and I've been playing electric and classical guitar for over 11 years. I began teaching 4 years ago with different students of various ages. I love teaching every genre of music from djent and classic rock all the way to modern pop and rap. I take pride in creating an enviro

Calculus can seem complicated, and as a current college student, I've been there. With 2 years of tutoring experience within my university and 4 years of mentoring experience, I've learned that it's not necessarily that the student cannot comprehend the concepts or the subject is just too hard. Sometimes, there are missing pieces of information from introductory mathematics classes that need a little refresher to get to where we want to be with Calculus. Or maybe, we need a more straightforward method of explaining complex math procedures. Whether you are just starting with Calculus or looking to work on challenging problems, I'm here to get started!

Book NowI am an experienced eight years, certified Mathematics and Statistics Tutor.
I won a tutor of the year certificate at the Math tutoring center at Arizona State University back in 2015 and I won a Mathematics competition at my High School in the year 2012. I believe most learning is self-taught, and therefore I first and foremost make sure all students are provided the best resources available for self-learning. In addition, I focus on helping the student build the intuition of the underlying concepts and with easy-to-understand problem-solving tools for particular types of problems.
About Adam
I studied mathematics and physics at Arizona State University and have been tutoring mathematics since January 2013 (I tutored at the largest math tutoring center in the nation (ASU's) for 3 years and got a tutor of the year reward there one year). I am always ready to learn more math and share any
