I focus on creating a safe and free sound. Alignment is the basis a great technique. Each person is different, and knowing how to help them release unwanted tension is critical.
The vocal folds are the core of the sound, and must be given the utmost care and consideration. Proper hydration is essential. They are also muscles, that need strengthening exercises and time for them to change. This will improve your vocal endurance and range. As a highly trained voice teacher, I can hear if the vocal folds are behaving in a healthy and efficient manner. It is essential that your teacher understand how to care for these delicate components of the human voice.
Vocal resonance is how opera singers are heard without amplification. It can be enhanced through awareness and coordination of the various portions of the vocal tract. There are two main components that help magnify the sound. The pharynx, also known as the throat, and the soft palate. Having an open throat and lift ...

Fun lessons but also challenging
- I believes that fun lessons are easy to gain young student interest, but it often lack to give them motivation. In the lessons, I often challenge my students, let them be self-motivated and become a better musician.
- I focus lessons on teaching proper techniques with their instruments. With my experiences in taking lessons from American, Chinese, and Russian teachers, I learnt a great spectrum of techniques and I would like to teach my students what I had learn.
Learning pieces and other related topics
- Playing pieces and songs is only a small part of learning to play an instrument. In our lessons, we would also cover proper music theory, and ear-training.

It begins with a foundation of techniques: breathing, posture, pitch, tone, rhythm and more. Students will study out of a method book but also learn classical and rock and/or pop pieces depending on the student's musical tastes. I always incorporate games for beginners to help reinforce the fundamentals they're learning.
I love teaching and spreading the joy of music, but it's all about the needs and goals of my students! I listen to them to understand how they learn best and what type of lesson will capture their interest.

I love teaching music. I think it should be fun and exciting to improve on an instrument. I meet the student where they are at with their ability and work up from there. I find as many different approaches to help students learn new playing techniques or refining ones they may already know. While my primary instrument is trombone I can easily transfer my skills over to euphonium. Music education is my passion in life and I can’t wait to work with you!
My primary instrument is trombone and I am a music major. I am a full time student working to complete my Music Education Bachelor s Degree, graduating in the Spring of 2021. I have experience teaching some lessons but would like to make it a more consistent part of my life. I can also tutor in mus

Ahmad has a well-thought-out curriculum that introduces music theory and chord concepts in a way that helps you understand what's happening musically while being able to apply it to actual songs. He has printouts and online videos to help you review if you forget something from class. He also gives you good strategies for practicing effectively. And finally, his excitement for music is infectious. One of the hardest things for me is staying motivated to practice, but that's a lot easier when I can see that I'm progressing toward being the guitarist I want to be with every lesson.
I've taken music lessons from a lot of different musicians in my lifetime (piano, violin, voice) and while they were all skilled musicians, none were as skilled of teachers as Ahmad. If your experience is anything like mine, you'll learn more faster taking lessons here than anywhere else."
