Students can expect lessons catered to their unique learning styles, goals, and trajectory. A potential ultimate goal is to help students develop instrumental skills and a musical literacy so they can achieve whatever their musical dreams are.

Acoustic steel string or nylon string. 6 string, or 12 string. All styles. Whether you want to be a weekend warrior who plays around the campfire, or someone who wants to study at a professional or advanced level, we can make that happen!!!! My unique approach to teaching guitar will have you playing guitar on the first day. No joke.

I understand that each person learns differently and has different musical goals. Because of this, I do not teach everyone the same. I do not teach out of any specific book or teaching program. Instead I design lessons around the student and their own personal style and goals. I feel that this creates a more motivating and driven curriculum and makes lessons more enjoyable for myself and my students.

I've taught lessons and performed in Louisiana, Texas and Massachusetts for the past 15 years. My students vary from beginners to advanced and always come back amazed at the ease in which they learn. I also teach music theory, music history, piano and voice lessons. For Guitar lessons I teach from Hal Leonard Guitar Method line of books.

I am currently only accepting students taking lessons every week. I will help you learn how to make beautiful music with your acoustic guitar! I focus on proper technique and will have you playing your first song by the end of your first lesson.

I have played guitar for almost 30 years and I've done concerts, performances and lectures in different states and also internationally. My biggest influences are Paco de Lucia and Tommy Emmanuel and I enjoy teaching guitar to any levels, ages and styles. My goal is to make sure my student will enjoy guitar lessons not matter how long it takes.

I am also the current guitar professor at Union College, Music Art Ambassador for Nebraska Arts Council, Guest teaching artist for John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, and Teaching Artist in Residence for The Lied Center.
I love sharing my knowledge and experience with my students. I like to see the progress of my students and how they grow into their music skills no matter the age.
