I want to make sure my students have a good time learning guitar but I also want to make sure they learn a lot..! I always make sure to ask my students what they want to learn and what their favorite music is... after that, I figure out what type of lessons to plan out.

I am a self-taught musician with 15 years of experience playing electric and acoustic guitar. My lessons begin by learning what inspires you as a musician, and working to take you where you want to go! Learning some of your favorite songs is often a great place to start. By learning a variety of music, you'll quickly begin to notice patterns & understand basic theory on what notes work together well. From there, you can apply that knowledge to improvisation, as well as songs you may want to write!
From those first few lessons, there's a million different ways we can explore the guitar together. With my lessons, I offer recording time in my home studio where you can learn how to write, record, produce, and mix fully arranged songs!
Reach out to say hi, and let me know what some of your immediate goals and questions are!
Specialties: Indie, Rock, Pop, Alternative, Psychedelic, Folk, Acoustic.
Open to students of all ages.

The most important thing to me is to keep the student interested and engaged in the lessons. This way learning guitar is easy and fun, not a struggle. A great place to start is by learning songs you enjoy listening to. Then later moving on, applying theory and scales to the songs we have learned.

Bill is a very knowledgeable, flexible, and patient guitar teacher. Thanks Bill."

He makes learning the guitar so comfortable. He makes things easier to review and doesn't mind going over things you may have forgotten. If I could, I would get everyone I know to take lessons from him. I couldn't ask for a better teacher!"

This was my first experience with guitar lessons and it was exactly what I needed to get started. With the information I was given and knowledge that I gained from Michael, I can feel confident about moving forward."

Guitarists, are you ready to hit the stage at a local open mic? Polish your performance with these tips from guitar teacher Samuel B.... Performing (like songwriting) is a craft at which any dedicated musician can excel. It requires no prerequisites – only the desire to share your talent and creations.
