Jonathan has a demonstrable amount of knowledge about the violin including different playing styles, music theory, and its practical application. His approach is incremental and measured that adapts to my specific strengths and weaknesses intermixed with an appropriate amount of patience. He is also very personable. I always look forward to our lessons together.

I've been teaching French for 4 years. It is true that French language can be challenging to learn but with my help and experience (and some homework), you'll be able to speak fluently in a reasonable period of time! I want you to enjoy learning, so we'll work conjugation, grammar rules, pronunciation etc, but most importantly, we'll work on your interests, what inspires you, the reason why you want to learn French. We'll watch videos, read articles, listen to songs... Remember, my priority is your expectations! And my English is very good...

About Jean-Gabriel
Hi everyone! I'm a French teacher. A perfect pronunciation, tools for work or casual conversation and grammar rules are essential to be well understood. I'll help you master these. I've been doing subtitling for French TV channels since 2010. I also love to teach, play and talk about music (any kind of music such as house music, dubstep, jazz, reggae, ska, Latino, rock, blues, classical French music...). I can teach you how to sing, play guitar, bass, drums, percussion, and also electronic music with softwares like Protools, Logic Audio, Fruity loops... (Mac or PC). I'm from the south of France (Provence) but I spent 9 years in Paris between 2003 and 2012, where I sang and played music in studios and live. I also worked for an Audiovisual school over there (ESRA Paris). I've been living in Seattle area from October 2012. I enjoy a lot sha
ring my experience and meeting new people who share theirs. My priority is you and your expectations. Let's meet, learn and have fun!

Every student has his/her personal needs. I first make sure I understand what the student/learner is looking for and I adapt to him, her with personal attention and content. I have been a coach on Rosetta Stone (conversational French) and a French tutor ( middle and high school) for more than 7 years, making sure my students progress. A language is something "alive". I mean by this that I focus on practical and useful expressions when my student wants conversational lessons. If my student struggles at school with grammar, I reassure him or her and make him or her confident and together we progress to B and A grades.

About Martine
Bonjour. My name is Martine. I am a French native speaker who is tutoring in South Florida for more than five years. I help high school students to improve their marks with success. I have also specialized in conversational French and help my students to become fluent in speaking . I am also working on my personal website which will very soon offer nice and useful dialogues that you meet in a daily life. My students love my lessons! I am also an author of children books, both in French and English.Do not hesitate to ask me for further information about French lessons. It will be my pleasure to answer you in a very short time.

Allez-viens! I have been speaking and studying French for over 10 years. It was my first foreign language and I am passionate about facilitating that language learning process for others. I have a BA in French Comparative Literature and I have actually lived in France in a small and culturally rich town where learning the language was the only option. While there, I attended a French Université. My MA in education enables me to proactively tailor lessons to student needs, goals and strengths to ensure the most constructive and effective learning environment.

About Clarissa
I focus on the student. My approach and materials will vary depending on the progress, past experience and interests of the student. I want her or him to want to learn. My hobbies include backpacking, hiking, travel, reading, and language learning.

I am working on my Masters in Secondary English and currently hold an Associates in ECE, this combined with my extensive experience with the AP system and the time that I lived in and attended universitĂŠ in France make me qualified to tutor in these subjects and the satellite subject areas such as diction, study skills, reading and writing. I have experience learning four foreign languages in addition to English. It is my love of the learning process, patience and passion for these subjects, however, that are most efficacious in the tutoring process. Best of luck with your studies!

Native French speaker.
Intense reader and passionate by French literature as well by the language practice itself.
I am not here to judge you but to help you to achieve your goals, my sessions will always be built around your needs and not mines.
We'll take it slowly if you want me to but we can also go more intensively if that's how you want.
I will only recommend you how we should do it but you are the student and will end up being the one and only making the decisions about the way of learning that fits you the best, all based on my recommendations and observations that you are free to consider.

I am so far away from the arrogant attitude that makes some teachers feel they should be listened and followed since they master their own language.
Yeah I do master the French language and yeah I have always been on top of the French speakers who practice, teach and speak a proper French with the love for the language.

About Aissa
Bonjour and hi to my future students,
Native French speaker here and intense reader who is passionate by French literature as well by the language practice itself.

My name is Aissa, as my daily job, I am a pathologist here in the U.S. but I was Born and raised in Belgium and lived in Paris for 10 years.
French is my native language but not only I am passionate about it, I have been Lucky enough to share it with people who are really interested by the language.

I have been tutoring French for as long as I can remember (around the age of 16), and did so with my classmates who were struggling, to my nephews in France and England and to my friends here in the U.S. I have done it for free with people I know and just because of the passion to share the language but I have also done it as an official paid tutor.
I am very patient and t
ry to focus on my students needs without the arrogance of mastering my own language, which I shouldn’t get credit for anyway.

If I meet someone in the street in Paris who needs my help and try to do it in French, my philosophy is to always trying to adjust myself to understand different accents and not expect from them to be perfect speaker in a language that is not their native one.

Yeah I do master the French language and yeah I have always been on top of the French speakers who practice, teach and speak a proper French with the love for the language.
But that being said, it doesn't give me the right to judge you or expect you to be at my level. I just love sharing my knowledge with my students in the way that can help them and make them gain in confidence.

I was born and raised in Paris, close to Montmartre. After my Master's degree, I started tutoring French as a second language to American students in exchange programs in Paris. I loved it so much that I basically never stopped.

French is a demanding but extremely rewarding language to learn. In my classes, they are no stupid questions, and no mistakes. Learning a language is a very humbling process that needs to happen in a safe and joyful environment. This is what you will find in my classes.
