I am confident that you will know why my piano studio stands out. There are many teachers who teach piano. However, you will not receive the same results in the same amount of given time. I am confident that I can most effectively provide results for you, and, most importantly, inspire you/your child to enjoy the process throughout the musical journey.

Also, my unique educational background in both piano performance and music education distinguishes me from other teachers. I have learned not only the technical skills to teach students, but also on how to communicate most effectively to students through innovative, fun, and creative teaching ...

Rosa is such a great mentor for piano and music! She is patient, and has a keen sense of where I am at in terms of my understanding and technique. Not only my musical ability to play the piano improved tremendously, my sense of appreciation for music has deepened. The appreciation of music also translated to improving my relationship with others and increasing empathy. Would you like a world-class pianist looking over you to give you insight into her world? Have her as your teacher. If you're lucky, you might just get to experience the tradition that has been handed down from classical giants (she once told me her mentor at Eastman is a 4th generation student in the lineage of Beethovan!).

Superb teaching, perfect for my skill level and ambition. Dr.Lee rapidly diagnosed the problems I need to solve and has helped me attack them. She doesn't waste a second in her teaching. I am inspired to practice and improve.

I have been playing piano over 15 years and have been teaching for 6. From classical, jazz, pop, blues, or funk, I've studied it and can teach it to you!

About Joshua
Hi! I'm Josh, a passionate music educator in Boston, MA. I have taught over 2000 lessons over the past five years to piano, voice, and theory students of all ages. From preparing for rock-vocal style auditions at Berklee College of Music to helping re-discovering the fun of classical piano lessons, there is nothing I enjoy more than working with students on achieving their goals. As a gigging musician and a lifetime student myself, I know what it takes to improve, master, and most importantly ENJOY your time at your instrument. Looking forward to helping you reach all your music goals!

About me:
I eat/breathe/sleep music. From writing and conducting my first A Capella piece in high school to playing in bands that have toured around the world, music is my passion and my life! I value nothing more than finding that passion in others and
working together to turn musical fantasies into realities.

From grade school to high school I took rigorous classical piano lessons. In 2006-07 I attended two summer programs at Berklee College of Music where I studied jazz/rock performance, and continued to study jazz piano at Washington University.

At Boston University, I studied classical music composition/theory, and was accepted to for a dual degree in Music Composition, Psychology, but decided to pursue music as a minor in order to allow more time for gigging. Since relocating to Boston, I have performed 250+ shows in various ensembles around the greater Boston area.

Piano has always been the foundation of music for me and it's where I find myself everyday! It is a great way to understand the building blocks of music which makes it an excellent choice for someone new to music.

About Alexandra
I graduated Manga Cum Laude from Berklee College of Music and I have been teaching piano and voice for over 14 years. What drives me is the power of music to lift peoples spirits, allowing them to grow, and have fun.

In my own life, it wasn’t long before I felt the tug of music. I first became involved with piano when I would tag along with my mother to her piano lessons. The teacher gave me a beginners book and a few pointers and that started me on my path.

The real epiphany came at 12 when I met local singer and instructor Sandi Bedrosian-Hyde, who became not only my voice teacher but my friend and mentor. I was fortunate enough to become her personal assistant and was able to teach under her guidance for several years. Sandi was able to show me that with the right teacher a student can go on to accomplish anything.

My favorite part of teaching is getting to know the personalities of my students and figuring out what music is to them. Yes, we all need to be able to read and write music, and yes we have to practice scales and other technique exercises, but when these are done music is boiled down to one thing: Expression. Lessons are structured around good practice and organizational skills, technique, music theory and performance.
I definitely have a great sense of humor with my students, as well as a patient and easy-going demeanor.

*** Travel Equipment ***
I can able to provide all learning books and notebooks for the same price as a store. I always have pencils and erasers.

Have you or your kids always wanted to learn to play piano? I am an experienced music teacher specialized in beginner and intermediate piano students of ALL ages. I believe that it is never too late to learn to play an instrument, no matter your age! I teach classical piano through Suzuki method and can also teach modern piano styles upon request.

About Hannah
After studying piano for almost 10 years I decided I wanted to learn a new instrument and began taking violin lessons when I was 16 years old. In spite of people telling me that I was “too old” to learn to play the violin, I continued practicing and one year later I joined my first orchestra. In 2016 I graduated with a BA in Music from the University of Massachusetts Boston and I am now the violinist of Boston-based fusion rock band " The Sunset Kings".
In November of 2018, I released my Spanish debut single "Ni Una Más" under my artist name "Hannah Schzde". "Ni Una Más" is now available in every music streaming service world-wide!
In addition to offering private violin and piano lessons and performing with The Sunset Kings, I am also a studio violinist and perform with different orchestra pits in the Boston area while I continue to wri
te and record new material for my upcoming debut EP.
***Note: My availability is flexible! Please send me a message if my calendar doesn't fit with your schedule and we'll work it out!***
