I have been playing the cello for over 10 years. I enjoy helping students to learn with a strong background in theory and applying it to the physical learning. I also focus on intonation and learning to trust your finger memory

I help students learn the basics and eventually let the student choose their own music. I encourage students to participate in ensembles and recitals. Although it is not a requirement I believe in the importance of getting comfortable with being uncomfortable. Although this is what helps us to grow....I also understand those who may not wish to participate and respect their choices.

So....shall we begin?

About Tudi

Tudi is a classically trained cellist and violinist and customizes lessons to meet the needs of each student. She teaches beginning to intermediate on both cello and violin for all ages. Tudi believes in providing a strong background of music theory, intonation, and aiding the student in music no

As with all of my lessons, I provide a core curriculum as well as customizing to the student's needs and interest. Stellar teacher! He really knows his stuff and how to convey it!

I am an adult who has no experience with any type of instrument and was very nervous and intimidated at first. Then I met with Michael, and though there was a ton of information we had to go through, he really made me feel at ease. He has the knowledge, patience, and understanding I was really looking for in a teacher and I'm so happy I found him!

With his flexibility and willingness to accommodate us my daughter learned a lot from him. He was a wonderful teacher and a great person to do business with.

"I am 43 years old and was scared to take on such a difficult instrument but I really wanted to learn how to play the beautiful cello. I had my first lesson and am very happy with Claire. She is friendly, accommodating, patient, and explains her lesson in a clear and easy manner (as easy as you can get with the cello). I had a lot of questions and she was very open in answering all of them. Although I am still at the very very beginnings of my journey, I am very excited to continue with the cello lessons, thanks to Claire."

"Brenda is an amazing musician and teacher! She is personable, a great listener, and is obviously incredibly talented in her craft. I am proficient at the Flute, and was looking to try something brand new. So glad I found Brenda! This was my first time taking a lesson online, and it was amazing how she could pick up so many details through the online medium. I really feel like with her lessons the techniques I’m learning feel less intimidating, and the music feels more fun. I would recommend Brenda to any musician, whether you are picking up an instrument for the first time or trying to hone a specific part of your craft. Seriously no need to look further!"

Is Cello Hard to Learn? Read THIS Before Taking Lessons

Many beginning musicians wonder, “Is cello hard to learn?” The process of learning the cello is not difficult, but it’s important to keep in mind that the cello is not an instrument of instant gratification. It does require focused, daily practice time and a good teacher to guide you along the way. How far you progress with cello is a direct result of the amount of quality time you put into practicing the instrument. Even someone who puts in just 30 minutes a day will notice a signi …
