Did you get your first saxophone and don't know where to start? Have you been playing for some time and want to audition for a music school? Do you just want to relax and play songs for your friends and family? You've come to the right place!
Our lessons will be tailored to your specific needs. We will focus on proper breath support, body posture, embochure and sound. We will also be looking at a repertoire suitable to your level and interests, and we might do some jazz improvisation if you want to learn that too. Just give it a try!

Keith uses a structured approach that gave me a very solid foundation as a composer/arranger. He starts from the basics of harmony/instrumentation and progresses all the way to advanced orchestration and intricate harmony writing. His music notation software of choice is Sibelius, but I used Musescore when studying from him and I was able to learn everything he taught just fine.
One thing I like about him is that he can work at your pace. When I was studying with him, I was in a class with three other students. We were all at different skill levels, but he was able to help all of us progress at our own rate, giving us specific individual feedback depending on our skill. On top of that, he is bilingual in both Spanish and English.
I highly recommend Keith to anyone trying to improve their Jazz composition and arranging! He will seriously help you out big time just like he did for me.

The online works great."

Mary has done a great job with my son. She made my son feel comfortable enough at his first lesson that he kicked me out! On his second lesson he managed to not only forget his sheet music, but his instrument too! Mary still managed to teach him things and by the time I got back with the Sax he was fully engaged in learning some things she wrote on paper. My son has enjoyed his lessons and I see him keeping more interest than with just his school lessons alone. He is DEFINITELY learning and having fun doing it."

“Is saxophone hard to learn?” Not exactly. The saxophone, like many instruments, is not difficult to begin playing. It can however, be challenging to master Many people say that it’s easy to make a sound on the saxophone, but harder to make a good sound (at least, at first). But if you’re considering getting started with saxophone lessons - don’t be discouraged! Any self-disciplined student can progress in their saxophone skills by taking the right steps as a beginner.
