ennelly Keys in Everett and Bigfoot music in Smokey Point in 1999. I starte=
d the year 2000 at the Mills Music in Monroe. My youngest student has been =
a 4 years old.
=C2=A0I played trumpet in school=C2=A0 from 5th grade on and was the first =
chair in the 9th grade Orchestra in seventh grade. I took trumpet lessons a=
t Kennelly Keys at Arts Food Center on Holman Road in Seattle. Roy Kennelly
told me at the time that if I wanted to be a musician that I would have to=
get used to playing the same thing over and over again. I took that to hea=
rt and try to impart the same type of philosophy to my students.
I periodically take trumpet lessons in the Seattle area to brush up on my c=
hops and also to learn new ways of Teaching.

What's the difference between a violin and a fiddle? Some say it just depends on who is picking up the instrument . . . others might say a violin has strings while a fiddle has "strangs." But if you're looking to play a hoedown, a breakdown, a sweet and heartfelt waltz, or an old-timey reel, then you're looking for some FIDDLE lessons . . . and I am just the person to deliver! I've been a performing bluegrass fiddler since 2003 and have helped many students discover the joys and satisfaction of fiddling. See my profile under "fiddle" for more information.

I've been playing guitar for about 10 years and have a lot of experience playing in metal bands, jazz bands and alternative bands. In addition I have access to both electric and acoustic guitars, and have a great home studio perfect for practicing. Whether you are just getting started, or want to learn advanced guitar techniques/soloing, I can help get you there with my knowledge, experience, and insights.

We begin with exercises to develop technique and train for agility, musicality and music theory. Classical music is used but not exclusively as we explore the many different genres of music! Ear training is also offered so that the student may be able to play by ear as well as reading music.
