From him!"

My daughter took voice lessons with Gregory around 6 years ago but for us it's as if it was yesterday. We will never forget his amazing spirit and his incredible talent. Gregory is complety connected and immersed in his lessons. He makes his students feel special while at the same time developing their voices. The results are immediate and as a matter a fact my daughters friend which I thought to be tone deaf took a lesson and the transformation was incredible. I can not say enough about him as a person or as a teacher!

I had been looking for a new piano teacher for my son, even though he was less enthusiastic about starting up lessons again. After his first lesson with Mary, he was looking forward to playing more. She's taking him back to the basics in a totally different teaching philosophy that he's really responding to. She works in music theory and because he's strong in math, he's responding better than with teachers in the past. He enjoys playing now and it shows when I hear him practice. We love this arrangement and I look forward to his progress with Mary."

I’m sure we are all familiar with the basic look, shape and sound of the violin. After all, violins have been around for over 400 years, and you simply make beautiful music by drawing the bow over the strings and moving your fingers! Right? Well, if only it were that simple. When I meet a new, beginner student for the first time, I always introduce them to the “anatomy” of the violin. There are actually many components that go into the making of a violin, and each one plays an imp …

As much as every budding violinist would love to pick up their instrument and begin playing beautiful music, the work required to get there is much more mundane – every breathtaking performance requires strategic and focused warm up exercises beforehand. These routines help you develop and maintain your basic violin skills as well as gear up for more advanced techniques, too. For beginners, it may be difficult to know even where to start; after all, everything seems to need work. However, us …
