Acoustic or electric, guitar or bass, beginner and beyond! I am a full-time singer-songwriter who has been playing guitar since 2002.

The best part that my students love is that I am left-handed- when I am showing them something on the guitar, it is like a mirror image for a right handed student, making it very easy to follow along with the exercise!

My lessons are custom tailored to my students according to what they are interested in working on. These lessons are done online, so no travel is involved.

I was born and raise on Peru, South America. My interest in music began when I was 9 years old. I came to USA when I was 17 and started attending college. I have take several music classes at college level like Music Theory, Music History, Piano, Voice and Ensemble. I finished my Associates degree in Fine Arts in Music in 2010. I have over 10 years of experience teaching music to students of all ages. I teach guitar and piano and I use different methods according to the student's needs. I also hold 2 recitals a year so students can show their hard work.

I can teach students from anywhere between a beginning level or an advanced level attempting to advance technique.

I specialize in beginner/intermediate level basics, with rock and blues genres specifically. I focus extensively on the topics of improvisation and on developing your personal voice on the instrument, along with solid, natural technique.

I believe in growing as a guitarist not just through technical proficiency, but also in overall musicianship. My approach to learning songs is not just being able to play a song, but to understand why it works, and how you can translate the things you hear into techniques and ideas you can utilize in your own songwriting.

Guitar lessons with me are unique because although I am young, I am a very experienced teacher already. I started learning guitar at 10 years old. By the time I was 16 I was gigging and teaching kids in my neighborhood and any Craigslist clients I could find. At 18, I took a 1.5 year program at the Los Angeles College of Music, where I graduated with an AA in guitar performance. Since then I have worked as a professional musician, and also as a teacher /consultant with Adopt the Arts, a non profit started by Matt Sorum (drummer of Guns N Roses, Hollywood Vampires) and director Abby Berman. In my time at Adopt the Arts I have amassed over 4000 teaching hours of teaching kids ages 4-13, so I am very experienced with kids and get along with them great since. I have also been giving other private lessons to people of all ages since 2011.
