First of all, Francis is an amazing guitar player. If guitar was jiu-jitsu, Francis i
s definitely a black belt.
Secondly, he's a very kind person and an interesting dude. I’ve enjoyed hanging out in his studio.
And lastly, I feel very confident that Francis is leading me in the right direction. I’m new to guitar but I want to play folk, be well rounded, and have a solid foundation. I can already see that foundation starting to lay itself out. I am very excited to see my progress as I continue to practice.
The sad news is that I have to take a break from guitar lessons for a while for financial reasons. But I wanted to leave review because I feel like others should know about this guy."

"Worked with Chris for the last 9 months weekly, I was a complete beginner on Acoustic only having a small background on Bass 20 years ago. Chris came in
with a formal plan that incorporated the important foundation concepts and practice strategies, all while ensuring that we used music that kept my interest in keep up my playing. He was very flexible, sometimes we jammed, sometimes we focused on concepts and technique - it was all dependent on the mood of the week, but he always came prepared for both. I *highly* recommend Chris, I look forward to continuing our relationship in the future."

"I have been playing the guitar for over 20 years, on and off.At first I just wanted to learn a few songs and impress people. I LOVE music and really wante
d to play for myself. i have taken lessons from multiple people. Taking lessons with Jimmy took me to a new level. I thought I just wanted to to play fast but Jimmy taught me technique, music theory, composition, live playing concepts. I have learned more with Jimmy in 1 year than 4- 5 years with other teachers. The Light Bulb is on and I am playing better then I could imagine. BTW: people are impressed but I don't care, because I love music!"

"I think that Alex is a good teacher because he lets us pick our own music and he also teaches it it's in a in advanced and lower level of teaching."

"Albert is a musical genius and a perfect teacher. For years, I wanted to build on my guitar playing as a kid, improve and learn how to play my favorite s
ongs in fingerstyle (Albert teaches all styles), but I could never find a teacher. I finally found Albert, literally almost twenty years ago. With his help, I tremendously improved and learned to play some great songs. I would bring in a CD with a great solo version of songs like Eleanor Rigby, Albert would figure out the tablature for it, and he'd help me learn it. We've done that with more songs that I can count Since I met Albert, YouTube came along, and now it's even easier to find great fingerstyle versions of songs on which I can work with Albert. My schedule does not permit me to see Albert and practice as much as in the past, but I still play, and ask Albert to help me with new arrangements I've found. I am not inherently musically gifted, but I have sufficiently improved that people have sometimes stopped to listen to me play when I'm shopping in guitar stores. I cant imagine there's a better person out there to help you achieve your goal of being able to play well."
