All aspects of guitar playing are covered. I will teach you to understand what you are playing so that you can take your playing where you want to go with it. From accompanying yourself singing on acoustic guitar , to complex solo and lead playing, as well as rhythmic and melodic electric playing in the various styles of the guitar heroes of today and yesterday. I'll make it happen for you!

Transcend the instrument and be able to play with anything. Learn your favorite tunes by ear and on the guitar. That is what I focus on. From beginning rudiments all the way through completely breaking down and conceptualizing the fretboard.

I've been playing for 20 years and have studied jazz at Peabody Conservatory and Berklee College of Music. However, I have played in bluegrass, rock, funk, hip hop and klezmer bands, as well.

I try to create an individual approach for each student because every person learns uniquely. I work with people on skills that apply to music at large, as well as the guitar 🎸. My goal is to help a student learn how to learn on their own, and provide the tools to do so.

I am a professional rock guitar player with over 25 years of experience. I can teach all levels and help you succeed in getting to the next level of ability. Lessons will be fun, but at the same time challenging.

I have a fluid teaching approach based on my REAL LIFE EXPERIENCE with an emphasis on improving technique, musicianship and a “truth is love approach” to ensure musical improvement within the first two weeks of lessons! I sincerely believe creating music should be a joyful & fulfilling experience and one that will be a positive change in someone’s life (as it has been for mine). I teach all genres of music on multiple instruments and specialize in audition preparation, real-life gig preparation and musical mastery. I want my students to reach their musical potential and aspirations, while having a good time doing something that they love.
