I have been helping students reach their goals for over 20 years! I am a working musician and professional performer who has been involved in music my entire life. My teaching methods help students achieve success because I adjust to each student's needs and abilities, individually, to create a great experience. I couple traditional teaching with performances and offer professional student shows and concerts throughout the year to help enrich the experience! I have had the opportunity to really stretch the limits of the ukulele because of the classes I teach with the instrument. In addition to the typical strum-along style of Uke playing, I can teach the Ukulele in a great deal of styles and using a great number of techniques.

I am genuinely passionate about your success in becoming the best ukulele player you choose to be! I like to teach with repetition (wax on wax off) and prefer to present the big picture first so that every obstacle may potentially never be an obstacle for you. I take years of teaching experience and what have been topics of frustration brought to me from students in the past. I try to smooth the road and teach you, so you get the highest yield of success for your money with as little headaches as possible :)

Whether you are a beginner or have been playing for years my comprehensive lessons will help you to quickly realize your musical goals. I tailor each lesson to fit your individual needs and will get you strumming your favorite songs, reading music, taking soaring solos, or writing your own melodies while simultaneously deepening your understanding of the language of music. At the end of each lesson you’ll receive an MP3 of all the material covered.

I believe in building music fundamentals while fostering a love of playing. My fun, imaginative, and age appropriate classes are just right for any budding musician! Each lesson is customized to get the individual student excited about music, that means playing songs they like and having fun while learning the essential techniques and developing musicality. I have extensive experience working with children 5-16 and adapt my teaching to promote success for each unique student.
