I am a regularly performing musician who has memorized hundreds of songs and pieces, making it easy to train any student on the fly. Teaching lessons is NOT just learning notes on the page, it is playing music by ear, understating how music works, and understanding how the student learns.

With 10 years of teaching piano lessons and 3 degrees in piano, I have both the expertise and experience to provide a uniquely tailored learning environment to piano students of all ages and levels. Teaching excites me because it gives me the opportunity to find out each student's individuality and to help them reach their inner potential. Since student goals vary from wanting to play chord charts in a garage band to aspiring to become a concert pianist, I do not have a rigid teaching method - rather, I tailor it to each student. Beyond the fundamentals of technique and reading music, piano lessons with me include focusing any amount of the following: classical, improvisation, composition, theory, jazz, popular styles, hymns, etc... I can't wait to begin guiding you on your musical journey with the piano!

It is a pleasure for me to teach music. I have been teaching piano and cello for more than ten years. All my students no matter which level of playing are having a good quality time in the lesson. Through my lesson, student learns music from different genres such as music theory,music history, ear training and music appreciation. Because of that, my student always tends to learn quicker than they expected.
Besides teaching, I also perform. My philosophy in music learning is that, it is never easy to learn an instrument. Therefore, learning in a creative atmosphere and giving out precise guidance is not only good for students, but also good for me. By exploring music together each week, it will be a fun and engaging experience for both of us towards music learning.

When it comes to my teaching, I focus on creating unique lessons that fit my individual students' needs - whether they are looking to pursue a career in music or treating music as a hobby, I make sure to establish a solid foundation as well as give my students the tools they need to succeed in the way that they desire.

I am an aspiring music teacher moving into a new area and want to get to know the people in my community. I have been playing piano since college and have been teaching privately for a few years. I have a very energetic and positive attitude that want to be able to share the gift of music with anyone who wants to peruse it! I have taught our of several different book series and will meet you where ever you are with your playing. I want to help my students get better and that means getting to know my student's goals and musical aspirations. I can't wait to start creating music with you!

I am a professional pianist with a bachelor’s and master’s degree from the Juilliard School, and currently working on my Doctoral of Musical Arts at Manhattan School of Music. I have worked with several world-renowned pianists including Robert McDonald, Horacio Gutierrez, and Haesun Paik. Their influence not only helped me develop as a pianist but also taught me how to teach and showed me the impact of truly masterful teacher can have on their students.

I serve as a piano faculty member at Bronx Conservatory of Music and Lindeblad School of Music, in addition to teaching private students. I have taught students at varying levels of experience and from varying backgrounds, ranging from 4-year-old to adult. Some of them had their very first piano lesson with me and others are promising concert pianists at Juilliard pre-college.
