William Rose is a free-lance percussionist who has participated in a variety of music programs. He has been drumming for the last 6 years, and has a variety of experience drumming in concert settings, jazz ensembles, and marching. He is currently finishing his Senior Year at Tabb High School, and is hoping to join the CNU Marching Captains while in college. In addition to his percussion experience, he has dabbled in music and sound production.

I can teach both classical, and contemporary harmony. I have studied contemporary harmony extensively. We will mainly focus on analysis of jazz and other contemporary music, and use the techniques learned in this analysis to compose original music.

In classical harmony we will analyze all forms of classical music, and practice composting within these guidelines.

I teach sight reading, the ability to play a new piece perfectly without any practice the first time played. I also teach the classical go through books learning harder and harder songs each week. I also teach improvisation the cording method the ability to play ez-play music and make it sound like you have been studying piano for twenty years after only a couple of years. 46 years teaching experience with a Masters in Education.
