I have great experience in teaching beginners to intermediate to play the piano. I also am experienced in helping people who have not played for a long while to get back their skills. I absolutely believe EVERYONE is capable of learning the piano and also be able enjoy the experience-with the right teaching !

Piano lessons are a joy to teach! Let me inspire you. Within the first few lessons, you'll know terminology and piano basics such as rhythm and body placement, and as time goes on you'll be able to play classics, standards and more. I typically use method books combined with traditional repertoire.

***My Equipment***

I own an extended upright Knabe on which I conduct lessons. Skype and computer hardware via tablet and laptop. Extensive music library of several hundred books and thousands of pieces or music. Printer/Scanner/Copier and high speed internet connectivity. Digital and traditional ticking metronomes. Flashcards and numerous other learning materials and aids.

Both online lessons and lessons at my location are conducted in my home living room with the piano lid open.

I specialize in technique, typically use piano adventures books, and also have the following tools available to use during lessons: a piano, metronome, etc.

I've been teaching piano and keyboard for over ten years. I've developed a unique, project-based to help the student understand and develop the skills necessary for piano and keyboard in today's world. I teach the fundamentals of music theory and technique first, and then allow the student to choose specific areas of focus. In classical training, I focus on developing music from the standard Western European repertoire, particularly Baroque through Romantic period music.

Students will learn how to read music, understand and apply basic music theory concepts, and learn how to practice with effective strategies. Repertoire will focus more on Classical music, but will include other styles as well.

Since 2015, Joe has been sharing his joy and knowledge of the piano with avid students working with learners from age six to young adult. As a college student himself, he understands the importance of making lessons fun and engaging while ensuring you are always growing musically.

Heather's studio is all about getting the student to maximize their full potential and achieve their musical goals. Heather graduated from The University of Tampa with a Bachelor of Arts in Music, a Bachelor of Arts in Government & World Affairs, and a minor in Criminology. Heather is a classically-trained pianist, and she has taught piano to young children through adults. In addition, she has performed clarinet in the university's band, pep band, and orchestra, and received instruction on the violin and the organ.

As an attorney who graduated from Northwestern Pritzker School of Law, Heather has an analytical style of piano teaching that focuses first and foremost on training students in attaining a solid understanding of music theory including scales, chords, arpeggios, and exercises. I have been teaching for more than ten years. I studied classical music and that is why I love to teach, and not only as a piano soloist but as a pianist accompanist. I teach all ages, but specially beginners and intermediate students. " Music is where the possibilities of language end". Let's create and discover what can music does !

I love teaching others to play piano. I combine traditional teaching from Italian piano school with creative learning methods. I connect with each student in a way that best fits their learning style, personality, choice of music, and time available for practice. I teach classical and whatever type of music students are interested in. I use method and technique books, supplementary materials and I also let the student choose music they like.
I teach encouraging students because I believe that this helps students to learn and build confidence in themselves.
