I wrote the review below because I was mad at her for personal reasons... Shes actually a great teacher. Sorry Cara
Estevan
DO NOT! I REPEAT DO NOT take opera vocal lessons from her. She learned from someone who cant even sing. She actually believes falsetto is unhealthy and I spent years avoiding the best part of my voice due to her misinformation. Any look at vocal pedagogy will confirm that falsetto is indeed a healthy voice mechanism used to develop a strong voice especially in tenors and she has chosen to be willfully ignorant due to either bad teaching or just not caring. Wolf in sheep's clothing people. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

She's a wonderful teacher! Very caring and patient but to the point. She knows her stuff!

"I've worked with Lynn for going on three years now and she has without a doubt been one of the most talented and most enjoyable people to make music with that I've ever encountered. Not only does she rock the sax better than most, she's extremely humble and approaches music with an openness and extremely positive energy. I give her my highest recommendation as a great teacher, and a great human being."

"Bill is a thoughtful teacher, an amazing musician, and a really caring guy

I would highly recommend Bill! He is such a great player and teacher! He has helped enormously with my saxophone playing, clarinet playing, and improvising.

Since my saxophone playing is already fairly advanced. In our lessons on saxophone focus heavily on advanced jazz improvisation topics, like standard tunes, and transcription. He is so knowledgeable on these advanced topics but is really great at showing me the basics so that I can learn at my own level and pace.

On clarinet Bill and I work on more classical studies and instrument technique to get my clarinet playing more on track.

Bill is such a patient and motivating teacher. It is clear that he cares deeply about MY SUCCESS in music. He has helped me feel good about my musical progress and inspired me to work harder!

He has even given me lots of great music business advice, and helped me think about what I want out of music in my life.

Bill is so easy to get along with and is really careful to explain things in a way that I can understand them.

Its been really awesome getting to know and work with him!"

"I studied under Jordan when he was a TA at SDSU. He was laid back, easy to get along with, and always helpful when I had questions for him.
Since then, I've had the pleasure of performing in SDSU ensembles with Jordan. I mean it when I say it: Jordan is not only one of the best music teachers in San Diego, but he is also one of the best trombone players I've ever had the pleasure of knowing."

"My daughter Ashley has studied with Stacey for over 2 years. She is a wonderful teacher. She is very patient and makes lessons fun but productive. She wants the very best for her students and works very hard to make sure that they excel in their chosen field of music. Stacey always made sure that Ashley was prepared for upcoming competitions, college auditions and even helped her find scholarship opportunities.Stacey has also worked with numerous other students that Ashley attended school with and they absolutely love her as well. I would highly recommend Stacey to anyone in need of a good music instructor."

This article aims to provide the beginner musician a nutshell overview of the different periods in music history by discussing the type of music and aesthet …
