I teach sit down lessons and also incorporate theory into private lessons for students.

I have found that many people have been confused before my music theory books and lessons. I have had great luck using my approaches in making learning music theory fun and accessible. I also find that it is very helpful to not bite off everything at once. We learn the music theory that we can use and apply it taking it out of the just theoretical to actually have fun playing with it.

I've been teaching the Music Theory for 3 years. My students were preparing for Doctoral Qualifying Exam and they passed the exam. Within the first few lessons, you'll be able to know basic chords and progressions and as time goes on you'll be able to analyze the musical pieces and to write chorals. I specialize in both tonal and atonal music. I use text book, Tonal Harmony and my own handouts. I love working with students of all ages and experience levels and I can't wait to meet you!
