Being a pianist is one of the most rewarding aspects of my life. The most rewarding, however, is watching students progress from beginner pianists to the level they desire. I've taught piano for the last 12 years and have played for over 18 years. I took over the full-time organist position at our church at the age of 12 and 7 years later transitioned to the full-time pianist and have been playing piano in church since.

About Keith

I am a pianist with years of performing experience - from churches to performing arts centers. I've performed in a variety of shows, as a instrumentalist and accompanist. I have recorded two CDs, all instrumental piano. Before relocating to Christiansburg, VA, I owned a music school in Bluefield

I like music to be fun!! I have created my own curriculum using colorful animals to learn the notes on the staffs. My students of all ages love the animals.

About Bonnie

Mrs. Bonnie is a wonderful Pianist and teacher. Her methods of teaching has allowed my child with short term memory deficit and ADHD be successful in her goal to play the piano. She is very passionate about her teaching, and it shows in each lesson. As a beginner in piano, she has been able to keep her interest by helping her play songs that she likes and listens to on the radio. This means a lot to my daughter. If you are looking for a piano teacher I highly recommend Mrs. Bonnie.

We love Ms. Bonnie! My 12 year old daughter Laura has been going to Ms. Bonnie for over a year now and is doing great. She is very kind, patient and attentive and takes her with my daughter. We highly recommend her!!

Specifically: KEYBOARDS. Forget boring lessons! I can show you my Method to make playing & creating FUN and efficient regardless your skill level! Whether you want to learn the real thing or just bought the latest synthesizer, there are certain techniques and approaches I have found in the past 30+ years to work like DYNAMITE -- IF... someone shows you a new way of playing. I have not only taught myself by ear but have over the years successfully taught many students my Method of getting good on a keyboard. I do not approach lessons in the "traditional" sense beyond proper posture and common sense ways to avoid injury. I get to the core of learning to play the instrument in a way that is EASY, FUN, and incredibly TO-THE-POINT! If your goal is NOT to be a classically trained pianist, but rather: you want to learn to EXPRESS yourself on ANY keyboard you have available to you in a way that is stress-free, inspiring, and efficient... you've found your new Maestro!

About Mark V

Mark V has been “Specializing In Melody” since the age of 5 when he discovered his natural ability to play and create catchy tunes by teaching himself the harmonica by ear. He went on to learn the accordion at 10, the piano at 12, MIDI and synthesizers at 15, the guitar at 30, and a long list of o

I really appreciate Mark's teaching ability. He breathes music and make it easy to understand. I wasn't expecting to make that much progress or to have that depth of knowledge of music or my instrument in only 5 lessons. He gives a lot and he is eager to respond to my questions. I recommend Mark as a accordion teacher.

Mark V. was great. He knew how to keep class fun and engaging. He truly cares and teaches piano in a way that is intuitive and can be applied to more than one instrument.

As one of my students you will be encouraged to learn some songs by ear and be creative by making up their own pieces. You will definitely need to learn to read notes, as well.

Each lesson will have you playing what you practiced during the week. And each lesson will also have you learn something to take home to perfect.

But most of all, I would hope you would leave with a sense of well-being, confidence and encouragement in the wonderful experience of making music on the piano.

I love for my students to perform as much as possible. We play in nursing homes, assisted living facilities and recitals. If a student comes up with a performance venue, we will certainly try to do it.

About Sue

I have been teaching for years with all ages of students. Piano lessons will include learning to read notes, ear training, theory and technique, creating your own music and learning to play the piano with others. The curriculum varies with individual needs. My philosophy is a little laid back but

I can't say enough good things about Sue! She is knowledgeable, patient, receptive to new ideas, has a great sense of humor.... She teaches both children and adults in her home (and more recently, on-line). I've been taking lessons with her for about 6 months, and have made a great deal of progress, as well as learning songs and techniques outside of my original "comfort zone".

Thank you, Sue!

"Highly recommend as a piano teacher for a beginner 9-yr old!

Peter has been teaching my 9-yr old daughter for the past 4 months and I am highly impressed with his teaching and interpersonal abilities. My daughter took lessons with another teacher all last year but Peter has been able to get her to improve at a much quicker pace. He is very patient but also know how to push her along. Plus, all my interactions with him have been very professional and friendly. Peter is always on time for our in-home lesson. Highly recommend!"
