About Thomas

I have been playing drums for over 47 years. For 16 years I played and performed professionally with my band Black Widow USA. This is our first Drum instructor and we are thrilled with Thomas. He is patient, kind, and enthusiastic about teaching. His approach is positive in nature, meeting the student where they are at, takes their interest as the lead, and starts teaching there. My 11 year old son really likes him too! We go to our 4th lesson this afternoon.

These lessons were great. Regarding drums, I was an absolute beginner, and Tommy's lessons turned out to be an excellent jump-start. I used to play keyboards and guitars before, and I enjoy picking up by ear rather than reading notation, so I really liked informal and 'non-notational' way the lessons went. There was no hard notation drill, and yet Tommy had covered most rudiments, basic techniques, and patterns needed to rock in about 10 lessons. I'd recommend this for anyone who doesn't know how to hold sticks but want to get introduced into rock drumming.

I have been taking lessons from Barbara for 3 to 4 months now.I live in a condo so when I practice every 2 weeks I take my PA.over to my x girl friends house to practice .She is the person who got me started 12 years ago and she knows my voice well. She rarely compliments me on anything which is common for an x girlfriend, however the last 2 times I practiced at her house ,she cracks a big smile and says with suprise"You have gotten better!"Thanks Barbara!

Casey is an amazing teacher. I have ZERO musical talent and Casey had me playing songs within a week. He makes learning fun and very easy. He is very knowledgeable not to mention a pretty sick drummer.
I started taking drum lessons just to check it out... and I keep coming back to learn more.

"Great teacher with a lot of passion!!

I started taking lessons with Casey about 8 months ago. He is the third drum teacher I've had and I definitely won't be looking for another one! He has a lot of patience but is always striving to make me work harder and be a better musician. He is passionate about what he does and it shows! I've learned and grown as a musician significantly faster with Casey than any of my previous teachers. He makes the hard work fun! I would absolutely recommend him to beginners and intermediate players as well! He is a lot of fun and he's flexible! Try him out, you'll be rockin' in no time!"

"Kevin has done a great job of engaging out 10 year old son with drum lessons. He's teaching him the fundamentals while also creating fun ways to fall in love with drumming.
He recently filmed a virtual duet with my son and showed him some videos of different types of drumming to engage him more in the experience of drumming.
He's also been great at communicating with me about homework assignments, suggesting supplies and ways we can support my sons learning.
It's been a great experience working with Kevin."
