This was a really unfortunate and wasted experience. Raycurt was wildly unprepared to teach. He brought a broken metronome and almost no sheet music/lesson plan. I had spoken both to the sales rep and Raycurt himself prior to the lesson and he was still fully unprepared.

I also explained my level of experience and was assured Raycurt was qualified to teach at the level I needed, but he came off as less knowledgable than me, which was particularly disappointing.

Worst of all, after multiple hours of speaking on the phone, I couldn't get my money back for this lesson.

I'd strongly recommend not using takelessons at all, they've put a horrible taste in my mouth for their entire service.

I've been teaching Acting for 8 years professionally and my students have gone on to be lead roles in feature films, supporting roles in feature films, and cast in stage plays. I am a very hands on teacher. I like to get into the character with the actor. Within the first few lessons, you'll be able to dissect and embody a character and as time goes on you'll be able to perform two one-minute monologues for a TV/Film agent. If you already have an agent you will be coached for auditions. I love working with students of all ages and experience levels and I can't wait to meet you!

About LaMarcus

LaMarcus has been teaching private lessons since 2010 and is currently available to teach lessons at your home, at his home, and online. LaMarcus has helped students learn skills in film/tv acting, Producing there own films & directing movies. He is best known for his roles as teenage football star

Mr. Tinker was incredible. My son loved his ability to break things down in such away that it took the pressure out the equation and it felt like he was talking to a genuine friend. Mr. Tinker is extremely knowledgeable and very gifted in what he does. I would highly recommend him to anyone who is looking for not only a teacher but a friend and mentor for this industry.

This is for choirs and group vocal lessons. My teaching curriculum emphasizes on proper breathing and vocal placement to ensure vocal improvement within a few weeks of lessons. All of these terms may sound scary, but I believe that singing should be a joyful experience and one that will be a positive change in your life and those around you. I teach all genres of music and specialize in audition preparation. I want my students to reach their musical potential and aspirations while having a blast.

About Bebé

I am a professional singer, pianist, songwriter, and recording artist. I graduated from Broward College with an Associates Degree in Music Technology and dual -majoring in Vocal Performance. My primary instruments are Voice and Piano, but I also play guitar and trumpet. All of my students can ex

I love Bebé as an instructor. She is so patient and comforting. The lessons are not complicated but still push you toward becoming a better pianist. By the second lesson I was playing the C major scale with both hands with rhythm and proper fingering. I've already recommended her as an instructor to friends I know who are interested in piano & guitar. I plan on having Bebé as an instructor as long as we both have availability and hopefully that's for a while. I genuinely love it here!

"Where do I even begin? I really cannot recommend Nicholas enough whether you’re somewhat of a professional or just starting out. I’ve always wanted to take Improv classes in a safe and exciting environment. Nicholas is a really talented, thoughtful instructor, and he not only makes you feel extremely comfortable with yourself but he pulls you own of your comfort zone at the same time to challenge yourself. I am so thrilled I started classes. I’ve learnt so many lessons that I can even apply to my daily life. I feel more confident. I’ve learnt to trust my own instincts more. I look forward to working with Nicholas always. It’s always such a great experience that the rest of the day just falls away every single time we have a lesson. It’s amazing to see the difference from when I started out. I highly recommend this instructor!"

Introduction to Voice Acting: Books & Resources to Check Out

When it comes to the performing arts, voice acting attracts some of the most fiercely dedicated enthusiasts, despite the relative anonymity compared to acting on stage or on screen. In the old days, radio dramas were the most common inspiration for aspiring voice actors. Today, it’s animation. The key component of voice acting, even more than secrecy and seclusion, is versatility. An in-demand voice actor may be called upon to provide the pipes for a cartoon rabbit in a kid's show on Friday, …
