About Rosita
I have been singing and studying voice for over 23 years since I was a child! I hold a Bachelors from Musicians Institute and other accomplished degrees from American Musical Dramatic Academy to conclude my quest for vocal excellence and the ability to sing in multiple languages ( English, Spanish, Japanese and Italian) I have been lucky enough to study with some of the top teachers in the country and now I bring the experience I have gained directly to you!
I am proud to share my student's vast array of musical successes. From being cast on short anime films and musicals to being accepted into prestigious performing arts academies to conquering the Karaoke scene. My passion for multiple languages and love of music is the desire driving me to share the gifts for teaching young children to open the door to their own musical abilities and
hidden artistic desires. I am currently writing a musical which will be debuting in 2020. I'm currently the vocal coach/Trainer and choir director at Iglesia Elim Central.

I will make sure my students have fun and help them get in the right track to their musical goals.

Also, I constantly upload videos on Singing, The Spanish Language, and Japanese! So keep Checking in! It ranges on tips and answering the most common questions on those particular subjects!

Also There are discounted rates for worship teams and church choirs. For more information please contact me through the "Ask a Question feature"

*** Lesson Details ***
I do my absolute best to create a positive atmosphere for my students. Even when the students feel frustrated or stressed, it is important to inspire them and give them the fuel that they need. Though I am strict when it comes to homework and their about their studies. Every lesson at the beginning I will review what we learned previously and test them.
then begin with proper breathing technique exercises, the cornerstone of all vocals. We move on to vocal exercises to condition the voice. Then we work on the songs that you are eager to sing!

I will use a piano when doing vocal warm ups and conditioning exercises. Students that play other instruments and accompany themselves when performing (such as a guitar) are encouraged to bring that instrument to their lessons. My goal is for them to gain the knowledge that they need to help reach their artistic goals.
With all my lessons every student will be taught a basic run down of Music Theory. My students will always progress in what they do. They will have the discipline that they need and yet have fun and be filled with inspiration. Which is the most important thing, to be Inspired to do better.

*** Studio Equipment ***
iMac, condensing mic...performing mic, keyboard, mixer...living room of apartment.

*** Travel Equipment ***
I do have a portable keyboard. Though I do expect the student to have their own recording device and karaoke tracks. At Home I do have a studio, and if the students has an iPod or an Mp3 player I can attach it to a device where all of us can hear the tracks. I do have a recording studio as well.

*** Specialties ***
I specialize in Musical Theatre, and Pop rock genres. When I teach my students I always have them learn a song of another language whether it's Spanish or Japanese. It helps with diction when they learn a song outside the English Language. Also It helps them to learn another Language at the same time. Also I give them a little anatomy class when they are learning how to sing. I give them a model of the vocal Chords and different areas of the Larynx and which part works for the chest voice and the head voice.

Are you looking to learn English? I'm a native English speaker with a degree in Elementary Education and I have an ESL endorsement. Teaching is my passion, I love what I do and want my students to love learning, as well. I have worked with children and adults teaching them how to read and speak English. I teach based upon the individual’s wants and needs. I implement different activities (singing, games, crafts), talk about various topics, and adjust my lessons to help you to be successful with speaking English. I teach grammar, phonics, conversational, and academic English. I currently teach English, through VIPKID, to children from ages 4 up to 12 on a daily basis. I have extensive practice teaching students with no English skills to needing assistance with daily conversations. I am very flexible and will work with your schedule. We can have one lesson a month or several lessons a week, it is up to you.

At the end of each lesson, you will be provided with a detailed list of what we worked on and what should be worked on for our next lesson. About Amanda
Hi! I'm Amanda!

Want a teacher who knows what they're doing? You've found her! I'm a PhD student studying Linguistics: Second Language Acquisition. I have mastered and use only the best and most current ways to learn languages based on today's research in my sessions! Plus, I always make sure we have a lot of fun and laughs too!

I'm a recent French instructor at the University of Florida and previously was an English instructor at the English Language Institute of the University of Florida teaching students of all ages. I've taught French at the Ohio University to undergraduates. I've been teaching since 2009, so if you're looking for someone with experience and know-how, that's me!

My first experience teaching was through France's TAPIF program where I was given over 200 students, aged 6-12, and a long list of words and phrases
and told to do my best! Since then my teaching style has evolved along with the current findings in Second Language Acquisition research. I focus on aiding students in lowering foreign language anxiety through building student agency and perceived self-efficacy. This leads to increased true self-efficacy and improved academic outcomes (Bandura, 1986). What does all this mean? I help students engage in directed discovery learning, provide explicit instruction when necessary, and methodically review in ways that encourage deep learning and high retention rates. Because foreign language anxiety is lowered, authentic communicative activities are painless in my lessons and prepare the student for real world situations.

As an instructor, I play the role of a coach. I enable students to focus on their goals and hold them accountable to accomplishing them. I promote student agency and allow students to make choices about their own learning; this way each lesson fits their individual needs and differences. Before being a teacher, I was a success coach for college students. Not only will you learn your target language from me, but also the metacognitive and self-regulatory skills necessary to get ahead in life, your career, and academia! Who else offers that?

Overall, I am passionate, dedicated, outgoing, sometimes silly, and, above all, motivating. I work hard as a student and instructor, always giving 110%. Sign up for a trial lesson and let's make an action plan together! It's time to reach your goals!

I look forward to working with you!

Writing an important paper? Want to sound more natural in conversation? I am a native English speaker and Oxford TEFL TrinityCERT TESOL teacher who will give you a solid foundation of English in YOUR learning style. Lessons are student-centered and always catered to your needs! If you want to learn more, don't be shy - just send me a message!

I've taught all levels and all ages over many many time zones - I understand online learning can be a leap for some, but every student has expressed how amazing it is that they can learn at the time they want, in their own home, with the teacher they chose hundreds or thousands of miles away!

About Breanna
--- To-The-Point Bio ---

With 15+ years of experience, I am a learner-centered educator and Artist-Teacher-Scholar with a genuine interest in student engagement and cognitive growth. In our lessons, I strive to create motivating and rewarding learning environments through effective communication and a keen sense of student needs. Teachers are only as great as their students, which is why I encourage self-driven learning through example.

Below is a lengthy bio of my life as professional hornist (I'm currently principal horn of the State Opera in Stara Zagora, Bulgaria) with a little overview of my professional life. To briefly summarize the full extent of my musical experiences: over the years, I've been lucky enough to come across almost any performance job you could throw at someone - I was a keyboard player in an experimental i
mprovisatory funk band, have been a faculty accompanist at a university and a Suzuki class accompanist, have been a collaborative pianist for all sizes of chamber ensembles (vocal and instrumental), have performed in Jordan Hall on accordion giving a world premiere of a local Boston composer's work, busked the streets of my college town and played weddings on accordion, taught fifth grade, junior high, and high school band and choir at a public school, and helped create an educational outreach ensemble, to name some of the most memorable. Music is a very personal journey, I've come to realize, which is why lessons are always student-centered and planned according to your needs.

--- Lengthy Bio ---

Breanna Ellison, lauded for performances "flawless in execution and vivid in characterization" (Boston Musical Intelligencer), is a dynamic and highly sought-after horn player throughout the Midwest and East Coast. Breanna has played with numerous groups throughout the US, including Boston's conductorless chamber orchestra A Far Cry, the Kansas City Symphony Orchestra, the Ad Astra Festival Orchestral, Michael Tilson Thomas's New World Symphony Orchestra, the Boston Philharmonic Orchestra, Radius Ensemble, the Topeka Symphony Orchestra, and currently plays in the Hays Symphony Orchestra, among others. Recently, she served as principal horn with the Geneva Light Opera in their production of Così Fan Tutte, acted as section coach and chaperone in the Boston Youth Philharmonic Orchestra for the 2015 European Tour, and this summer served on faculty at the High Plains Music Camp as a collaborative pianist and hornist.

Equally at home in symphonic, opera, and chamber music worlds alike, Breanna has performed in music festivals across Europe and the United States. In 2011, she served as principal horn at the Eutiner Opernfestspiele in Schleswig-Holstein, Germany. She attended the Colorado College Music Festival in summer 2012, and later that summer attended the Ameropa Chamber Music Festival in Prague, Czech Republic. While in Prague, Breanna performed with an international chamber group that took second place in Ameropa's International Concertante Competition. The quartet performed Mozart's Sinfonia Concertante K295b in the Czech Philharmonic's Rudolfinum, Dvořák Hall with Camerata Filarmonica Bohemia. In the summer of 2015, by invitation, Breanna studied with world-renowned hornist and pedagogue Frøydis Ree Wekre in Oslo, Norway.

Holding performance degrees in both horn and piano from the University of Kansas, Breanna attended the Cortona Sessions for New Music in Cortona, Italy as a pianist in 2010. There, she met kindred spirits amongst the composers attending and later that year, invited them to Kansas to hear their commissions performed by her brass quintet, the Lawrence 5. The concert served as both premieres of their works and as a benefit concert to aid in the building of schools for girls in Pakistan and Afghanistan through the Central Asia Institute. While at the University of Kansas, Breanna was a recipient of the Zakoura Collaborative Pianist Scholarship. Much of her pianistic time was spent collaborating with instrumentalists and vocalists from all realms, often in premieres of new works by colleagues in composition. Regarding hornistic studies while studying at KU, she was assistant then fourth horn of the Topeka Symphony Orchestra, the first job she won at age 20.

Breanna graduated with honors from the New England Conservatory of Music in Boston, MA under full Presidential and Merit scholarship with her master's degree in horn performance, studying with James Sommerville, principal horn of the Boston Symphony Orchestra. During her time there, she also earned her Music-In-Education Concentration under the guidance of movement-founder Larry Scripp. She received her undergraduate degrees from the University of Kansas School of Music in horn performance, studying with Paul Stevens, and piano performance, studying with Jack Winerock. Breanna is currently Interim Professor of Horn at Fort Hays State University and continues to be a collaborative pianist at the University and throughout the state of Kansas. When not pursuing musical endeavors, she enjoys creating raw desserts, planning her worldwide backpacking trip, and learning mad, Balkan rips to busk with on accordion.

I had next to no piano experience before Breanna started teaching me. In one semester, I was fluent in scales and common chord progressions. Because of her lessons, my Piano Tech classes for my Music Performance degree are a breeze. Breanna easily incorporates ear training, theory, and history into her lessons. She’s extremely knowledgeable in many various areas of music. I give her my full and strongest recommendation.
