"Rian is a great teacher. When he needs to correct you, he does it gently, and it doesn't make you feel like you have done something wrong. He teaches from
a set of books that is very precise, and so would be a fantastic fit for younger students."

When I first met Keith, or as I call him Coach, he went right to business. Took out my notebook, and in the 30 Minutes, I learned so
much about music notes that I could go home and remember without looking at the book. He Is an AWESOME teacher and someone that I will always admire and look up to. He is very patient and gives a lot of similarities to what he went through years past to what I could handle now. The unfortunate part is that I had to cancel some classes because of my A/C and Heating job and he always had extra time during the day to squeeze me in. He will always be in my mind, and there is not a single day that goes by that i tap my fingers while listening to music and measuring the beats in a song. Its fun! And he got me in LOVE with drums even more. Coach, i know you are reading this, and I am glad you are, just want you to know I really appreciate your time with me and give me something to accomplish, which is learn something new in my life. Coach, you are the greatest and I hope new students who come to for training and help realize that it will be the best 30 minutes they can ever receive from any music teacher. GOOD LUCK!!"

"Not only do we love the convenience of online lessons, but we also love our instructor, Blake! Besides his patience and enthusiasm for my 9yo son, who is
learning to play the drums with Blake, his communication and flexibility are second to none, which is very important to this busy homeschooling mom. I wondered how effective online lessons would be, and it's been fabulous. Blake and my son hook up with Skype, so they can see each other, talk and form a relationship, making the instructions all the more effective. I highly recommend takelessons.com and of course, Blake. :)"

TakeLessons.com Instructor since 2005, Jason M. is now available for online lessons worldwide featuring multiple-camera angles and a share screen experience leaving no stone un-turned!
Jason has been playing guitar for over 15 years and teaching music since 1996. Although trained in standard teaching methods, he has developed his own method of teaching to positively enhance the students strength, dexterity, ear-training, memorization and techniques. His goal as a teacher is specifically designed to help you achieve your goals as an artist and a musician.
This year Jason was also the M
usic Director at the National Guitar Workshop Day Jams Rock Music Day Camp where students ages 7-15 came out to form bands, record original material and master their craft. He also taught beginning to advanced guitar/ vocals/ performance and songwriting as hosted a recording clinic at the end of each day.
Jason has host student showcases/charity benefits where his students were able to get on stage and show off their new talent and perform with other musicians. It wasn't mandatory though, if you were just looking to come out and support there was no pressure other than to come out and have fun.
Jason has been transcribing for guitar and bass since the age of 18 and since then has become a master of the craft including both 5 line staff and tablature, hand-crafted exercises and deconstructions to better enhance the students learning. Artists and genres that Jason has experience with range from Classic Rock, Metallica, Slayer, Megadeth, Guns N' Roses, Santana, Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, Led Zeppelin, Robert Johnson, Pierce the Veil, Paramore, All Time Low, Demi Lava to, Iron Maiden, Motorhead, Pantera, Avenged Sevenfold, The White Stripes, Green Day, Old Crow Medicine Show, Taylor Swift, Mumford and Sons, Bruno Mars, Rob Zombie, John 5, Audioslave, Rage Against the Machine, Van Morrison, the Beatles, AC/DC, ZZ-Top, Bullet For My Valentine, All That Remains, Ozzy, Black Label Society, Sublime, Aerosmith, At the Drive In, Type O Negative, the Black Keys, the Pixies, the Toadies, Black Sabbath, Jason Mraz, Lady GaGa, John Mayer and Journey.
Jason attended the University of Alaska, Anchorage where his degree is in Music and Business. He is constantly continuing his education with music theory courses as well as private guitar instruction. He attends guitar workshops and seminars by artists such as John5 and Kerry King who are known as some of the worlds finest guitar players. He reviews every day from a wide range of over 1000 sources working to become a better musician and instructor.
Another nice feature that you might enjoy from one on one sessions with Jason is learning the ability to craft and record your own songs using state of the art technology that caters to your own unique personality. There are no limits!
Jason teaches all experience levels from beginner to intermediate and advanced as well as artists that are signed to labels.

I've taken several lessons with Jason and highly recommend him! He is very patient, easy going, and goes at the student's pace. He's a great guitar player and he will work with you to achieve your goal. I leave each lesson learning a few new songs.

We were new to the whole online, private lesson world and only tried as a test for our 10 yr-old son. He has now been working with Jason for several months now and shows no signs of stopping. Our son is progressing, has gained confidence and still seems to have fun. Jason is on time and if you cannot make a lesson he is flexible in rescheduling if given some notice. Finally, I would be remiss if I didn't mention how much Jason packs into his lessons without overwhelming the student. We highly recommend him!

Guitar instructor Chris was helpful in showing how to learn the basic chords and he was interested in what kind of guitar music I wanted to learn. I was pleased with the guitar lessons and would recommend instructor Chris to anyone who wants to how to play guitar music.

I have been trying to come up with the perfect words to describe this teacher but I can't find anything I feel is good enough, other than the words wonderful and amazing. The way she teaches, and just her presence alone just blows me away, and I couldn't be more thankful to have met her and have the opportunity of her teaching me. If anyone is meant to be a teacher,it would be this person. She is so gifted.. Believe me when I say, if you have any doubt about choosing the right teacher, look no further because you just found her.

Amy has truly changed my life both as a performer and person. She helped me polish my vocal technique and singing methods, in addition to acting and audition coaching. She was very instrumental in helping me pick amazing audition songs and how to really give a memorable performance, even if it's just 16 bars at an open call! Before studying with Amy, I was a bit unfocused and rusty, now I am poised and confident in my singing abilities. Thank you Amy, you are an incredible and inspiring teacher!
My name is Heidi P. I graduated with a Bachelor's degree in music, with an emphasis in vocal performance. I have a great passion for teaching opera and classical music, but I teach vocal techniques that can be applied to all genres of music. I have been apart of many operas and performances including the roles of Maddalena in the opera Rigoletto, GrimGerde in Ride of the Valkyries, Carmen in the Opera Carmen, and Chorus in Suor Angelica, and La Traviata. I have also been in the Boise Music Week Productions of Hello Dolly, Beauty and the Beast, and Brigadoon. I let my students choose what type
of music they would like to sing, I don't want to force my own style on my students because I want them to enjoy what they sing! Music is a beautiful art form that is challenging but should also be fun and rewarding. As I teach, I will give insight to breathing techniques and many other concepts that will enhance the free-ness of voice. Hope to hear from you soon!

Heidi is sweet, positive, patient, and encouraging! I started without any experience in singing before taking lessons with Heidi and I can hear the improvement in the way that I sing. She isn't pushy and is willing to work with your own pace. Whenever we're singing or doing breathing exercises, she'll give you analogies to help you understand what you're doing more. I always look forward to her lessons and I'll definitely keep on taking lessons from Heidi! :)

Heidi is the best! From the second I walked into her quaint home, I was enamored by the positive energy she put off and the excitement she had towards helping me achieve my musical goals.
Heidi began our lessons by getting to know me personally, my current musical status, my goals with her and my goals with music in general. It is very endearing to see someone with so much passion, not just for music, but for teaching! Heidi is the fun teacher that everyone likes. She is very humble and kind, and I just can't imagine someone not getting along with her.
Her advice is ideal constructive criticism, never did I feel pressured to sing a certain way or embarrassed if I wasn't hitting my notes properly. She seems to know exactly what to tweak, what mindset to embrace, and what metaphors to use to illustrate better singing. One of these is with singing high notes, she told me to imagine my voice travelling down instead of up, and it made a world of difference!
Heidi knows that proper singing is achieved with breath control and openness in the throat and vocal area, and with this method anyone can become a great singer. On top of all this, she has the BEST price in the entire Inland Empire! If you are just starting or getting back into singing, or if you feel insecure about your voice but don't know where to start, call Heidi. You won't need to look for another voice teacher ever again, I promise. :)
Hello! My name is Joseph C. and I want to help you start your musical journey.
I have been playing guitar and bass since I was 15 years old and started playing payed performances in my early 20's. I have had the pleasure of playing everything from heavy metal guitar to country and blues bass. I am currently performing with a Ramones tribute band as well as a internationally recognized, and NAMMI award winning Native American flute artist.
I have taught guitar and bass since 2009 as well as tutored music theory students at San Juan College under the expert supervision of miss Linda Edw
ards. As an instructor, I have but one philosophy. Music is supposed to be fun. There is supposed to be passion. I don't believe in doing tons of work out of books or methods. My preferred approach to music instruction is finding out where the student wants to be, and why they want to play music in the first place? From there I will work with them to set individual goals that we can accomplish as a team. I find that this method is challenging, effective, personalized, and enjoyable.

Joseph is a very fun teacher who brings something fun for the kids. My son did not even want to take guitar lessons originally, and now he looks forward to them, and has made tremendous progress! Joseph gets the kids involved and interested in what they're doing, which I appreciate, as a parent.
He is also incredibly polite, and has fantastic manners! I highly recommend him!
