Private Electric Guitar tutoring lessons Weatherford, TX.

Hi!

I offer engaging and personalized guitar lessons for students. We build upon fundamentals skills through each lesson as the student learns their favorite songs. We also explore different aspects of music including improvisation, theory, composition, and even recording their own music. I provide study materials such as PDF files, backing tracks and videos to help students review what we cover in the lessons.

I had the privilege of receiving my B.A. in Guitar Performance from Berklee College of Music where I had the opportunity of learning and performing with great musicians from around the world. Because of my experience working with students of all ages from kids to adults, I truly believe that I can help anyone accomplish their musical goals!

I am currently only doing online lessons on Skype.

My goal as a teacher is to give you the facility to express yourself through music. The key parts to developing this facility are:

1. theory -- if you know your theory, you know the best way to express your idea without having to think about it
2. technique -- the last thing you want is for your technique to hinder your ability to express your idea. Having good technique lets your ideas flow naturally

When you take lessons with me, you get out of it what you put in. Your job as student is to be honest with what you expect to achieve and my job as teacher is to give you the tools to achieve it

Electric Guitar will give you a feel for a different avenue of sound.
1 - I will teach you will to play electric guitar setting and achieving your goals and learning in your own style through different techniques.
2 - You will learn string names, major and minor chords, strumming and additional details.
3 - You will learn cover songs and to write your own original songs if desired.
