Teaching since 2001

After 26 years of twirling baton, 15 years of teaching baton, I have learned how to teach everything from the basics of baton twirling to cleaning and creating Advanced routines. I create unique lessons for each student. I have class content from just learning how to hold a baton to teaching students who hope to teach baton twirling on their own one day. I have worked with all age levels, and as soon as you believe your child is ready to take the leap (pun intended), reach out and contact me to set up his or her first lesson!
Hi there! You may be asking yourself if it's really possible to learn baton twirling online. I have taught over 20 students virtually in the last 2 years. Bachelor of Music - Vocal Performance from Texas Tech University

As a musician, I wear many hats: opera singer, voice teacher, choir director, cantor, accompanist, and vocal coach. I work with singers of all levels - I believe that everyone can learn to sing, and that my job as a voice teacher is to help each student uncover what is unique and special about his or her own voice. My foundational training is classical singing, and those principles are what I teach, but I also try to help students apply healthy singing to whatever style they wish to sing. Whether you are looking for basic vocal technique, specific audition prep, solfege and sight-singing, or performance coaching, let me know how I can best help you achieve your goals! I hope that all of my students develop not only their skills as singers and performers, but also along the way develop and nourish a love of music and music-making.
I’m an opera singer based in Austin, TX, a city I’ve called home for the past 9 years. In addition to both classic and contemporary opera, I perform a wide range of repertoire: musical theater, Gregorian chant, choral music, you name it! I hold a Bachelor of Music degree from Texas Tech Un

I have been teaching Tabla for the last 13 years in Chicago, New Jersey, and the San Francisco Bay Area.
The initial few years of Tabla is focused on proper hand/finger placement and technique. Starting with few simple letters and building them into phrases, sentences, and full compositions. I try to exposure students to the language of the music. Therefore, I give students a general framework and ask them to compose themselves. As I guide them through the process, this exercise empowers students to create on their own and strengthen their logical thinking process.
Once students are able to produce desired sounds and play certain compositions in a Tabla solo repertoire, I introduce accompaniment material which can practically be applied when performing with singers, instrumentalists, and dancers.
Along the way, I share historical information on the art as well as recommend resources such as books, recordings, and websites for a well-rounded learning experience.

Having learned from several teachers over the course of my training, I've been fortunate to learn Tabla in a diverse manner. Although growing up in USA, I visited India every two or three years for intensive training. These experiences have helped me gain and retain the traditional aspects of the ar
