Bachelor of Music in Violin Performance from Lamar University
At the present time, I am just teaching Beginning Piano. I have been playing piano for over 20 years, but have recently put it on hold to concentrate on mastering my violin skills. I have taught one student in the past for a short period of time. She was doing well but had to quit for financial reasons.
My playing experience includes playing in two piano recitals in San Diego, CA where there were over 50 pianos on a large stage and we played music with partners. That was a lot of fun. I have also accompanied a fashion show which was fun too. I completed four semester of piano at a Jr. College and tested out of piano in a 4-year college, but I mostly play for my enjoyment and relaxation.
I have been teaching students on a regular basis since receiving my Violin Performance Degree in 2008, but have taught several students on and off for over 20 years. I have played in orchestras since Jr. High, including 2 paid symphonies in Louisiana. I am presently playing with a local paid sym

I started playing recognizable melodies on the piano at 18 months old. At that time I was told that I even had perfect pitch. By age 5, my mother started giving me classical, gospel, and improvisational lessons. I was one of her 50 students until my senior year in high school. Through elementar

I provide personalized online lessons to students of all ages and levels. My teaching method is largely a mixture of the Suzuki method and other traditional teaching philosophies. I look forward to work with you!
Andrew wants his students to discover a technique with which they can project their musical ideas through the instrument. All lessons are tailored to each individual. For younger students I like to use a mixture of the Suzuki method, the Paul Roland School, and other traditional teaching techniques

My goal as a Clarinet teacher is to give each student a very well rounded and thorough understanding of the instrument. Lessons will be tailored to each student and will include the following: knowledge of instrument care/maintenance, tone production, technique (scales, etudes, etc), musicality, music theory, and a variety of repertoire from classical to pop.
I am so glad you’re here! The music lessons for young children are full of fun, interactive activities with iPads apps and traditional methods that not only help develop a strong musical foundation and build essential life skills, but offer a unique bonding experience for you and your child.

As a new student, there is nothing better than learning to make music. There isn't a better instrument to learn on because it is inexpensive, portable and honestly so much fun!
Believe it or not, you can make a great deal of progress with a little bit of time each day. Once I decided to pick it up as regularly as I could, even if it was literally only 5 minutes, it was clear I was on the right path.
I started when I was 50 having never played an instrument before which has helped me teach others understanding all of the challenges of learning to play.
Sharing the ukulele with my friends and family helped me realize how much I wanted to share it with others. What could be better than sharing the joy of making music?
I hope to see you soon!
If you could never imagine you would be able to play the ukulele and make music, you are not alone. Believe me, you can do this and you'll never regret the time you put into it. Learning is fun when you love what you are doing and I promise to show you how to have fun practicing your uke!
