Chris was very flexible with my sons schedule. As an active kid involved in school and church activities, the online lessons with Chris were perfect. Through the year, my son advanced in his playing ability. We were excited to hear his piece at the state competition, but sadly the virus disrupted that. However, he learned much from Chris over the past several months. We appreciated the time and effort!

My son is a high school senior taking lessons from Dr. Heldt. The lesson went very well. My son is very happy to have such a kind and experienced teacher. So glad we found him!

At the present time, I am just teaching Beginning Piano. I have been playing piano for over 20 years, but have recently put it on hold to concentrate on mastering my violin skills. I have taught one student in the past for a short period of time. She was doing well but had to quit for financial reasons.

My playing experience includes playing in two piano recitals in San Diego, CA where there were over 50 pianos on a large stage and we played music with partners. That was a lot of fun. I have also accompanied a fashion show which was fun too. I completed four semester of piano at a Jr. College and tested out of piano in a 4-year college, but I mostly play for my enjoyment and relaxation.

About Cathy

I have been teaching students on a regular basis since receiving my Violin Performance Degree in 2008, but have taught several students on and off for over 20 years. I have played in orchestras since Jr. High, including 2 paid symphonies in Louisiana. I am presently playing with a local paid sym

About Joel

I started playing recognizable melodies on the piano at 18 months old. At that time I was told that I even had perfect pitch. By age 5, my mother started giving me classical, gospel, and improvisational lessons. I was one of her 50 students until my senior year in high school. Through elementar

George, was very patient, kind, and seem very knowledgeable. He seems to understand the pedagogy of teaching to kids and realize they all learn differently. I personally think he went above and beyond for my Son first class and for our first introduction. He offered a more modern approach method of teaching music and Piano to my son who so far seem more receptive in learning and practicing. Will se where that take us but I am very please so far.

George is totally passionate about teaching. He encourages the kids to practice and do their best. He has great knowledge and understanding of music theory. He is pleasant, easy going and works really well with kids. Overall really good teacher. Recommend!

As a new student, there is nothing better than learning to make music. There isn't a better instrument to learn on because it is inexpensive, portable and honestly so much fun!

Believe it or not, you can make a great deal of progress with a little bit of time each day. Once I decided to pick it up as regularly as I could, even if it was literally only 5 minutes, it was clear I was on the right path.

I started when I was 50 having never played an instrument before which has helped me teach others understanding all of the challenges of learning to play.

Sharing the ukulele with my friends and family helped me realize how much I wanted to share it with others. What could be better than sharing the joy of making music?

I hope to see you soon!
Mark

Mark is awesome! Enthusiastic, experienced, attentive, and totally in tune to my developing skill. He sends tips and individualized sheet music between lessons throughout the week, which helps me feel supported while encouraging me to keep practicing. In 3 short sessions, I've already learned a handful of tricks that help me have fun and feel like I'm already playing real music. Thanks so much, Mark!

"Claudio was a wonderful instructor in my time at Michigan. Although I was in a group piano course, Claudio took the time to really cater to each student and their individual needs. My class decided to take our final halfway through the semester, and though we all tested out, Claudio offered to continue to teach us whatever material we needed. I had been working on a piece that was complex for me that I needed help on, and Claudio met with me individually for the rest of the semester, always giving me helpful feedback and assistance on style, form, and technique. Additionally, he is a kind teacher who is understanding but also pushes you to do your best. I'd recommend him to anyone, be it for classical or more pop oriented playing!"
