About Sandy
Having taught Chinese Language Skills in the private sector, primary, secondary and college institutions for a number of years in China, has not only given me great confidence to teach in a classroom setting, but has inherently brought an instructor comfort that feels natural to me.
In addition, finding an opportunity where I can assist the kids, middle school and high school students and adults who love to learn Chinese college staff while maintaining my teaching proficiency in traditional or simplified Chinese characters is both welcome and rewarding to me.

I'm certain that my rich knowledge and years of experience in classroom practical application of Chinese Curriculum / Culture coupled with my love to teach make me a professional, responsible and patient teacher.

In addition, I can teach you Chinese in your location which
is no more than 10 miles away from Vista where I live. I can also teach you how to play badminton and cook delicious authentic Chinese food.

Ms. Qi is a very accessible and diligent teacher. My son can be difficult, but she found ways to quickly connect with him and get him to open up. She accommodated his need for assistance with his regular work, but encouraged us to "start again" with Chinese which is probably a good idea. Very much appreciate her experience and enthusiasm.

She was patient without being patronizing. I like that she assessed how well I was working on something then moved on as soon as she felt it was appropriate.

About Hugh
I spend hundreds of hours a month playing the greatest game in the world and could not be happier. I am grateful to have had the exciting opportunity to travel around the country these past few months playing the game I love. I posses a burning desire to become the best player in the world and will not stop until I succeed. I love to share thoughts and strategies with fellow players that I respect and am always evolving my game. I am playing great “winning” poker right now, but always see room to advance my knowledge and experience of the game. My hand reading ability is very accurate and gets better and better each day. They say you learn something new each day and with this very complex game I can say I firmly believe that. I was born to play this game with the greats. Poker is a true gift for me and I would love to have the opportunit
y to share my gift with you.

About Sandra
I have been crocheting for over 35 years. I crochet almost everyday keeping my skills up to date and learning new ones. I give projects away to either one of my 5 grandchildren or donate to charity for children.

I have an easy going, friendly manner that helps take the stress away from learning a new skill. I like to meet my students in person in the safety of a public place like a coffee shop or library near their home. I like to be present and able to see how they are holding the hook and yarn and help them make any adjustments if needed. It's also nice to be able to give encouragement and any suggestions when I'm sitting right next to a student.

Crochet is an awesome craft, it's portable, calming and sometimes challenging. Creating items either from patterns or your own design gives you a sense of pride and accomplishment.

I will bring a hook, yarn and some instructions for you to practice with and take home. All you have to do is show up and have fun learning to crochet!

I met with Sandra at a coffee shop near my house. She was very knowledgeable about crochet and taught me the basics. I tried teaching myself online but it was so much easier with her sitting right there next to me showing me how to hold the hook and what to do with the yarn.

I will definitely get more instructions from Sandra when I get stuck on a project. I highly recommend her to anyone wanting to learn crochet.

Since I was a young man, learning the proper way to cut miters from my Father, I have had a passion for woodworking and carpentry. Fast forward a couple of decades and that passion has turned into years of experience, many unique projects, and scores of happy clients.

Beyond my experience and abilities, I am easy to work with. I can break things down into easy-to-digest chunks, and understand that everyone has their own way to effectively learn new ideas. I always place safety above all, and right under that is fun.

Carpentry and woodworking is one of the most satisfying and truly rewarding practices out there. I would love to help you learn how to make it a part of your life!
