Hello I have over 15 piano students at the moment! I have been teaching for over 5 years and have had over 100 students. I graduated from Musicians Institute in 2005 in Hollywood Ca. Please consider me as your piano teacher! Thanks!

About Ben
Hello, my name is Ben and GUITAR IS MY BUSINESS...AND MY BUSINESS IS GOOD so please consider me. I've been playing guitar for over 18 years and have been in playing bands for 12 years. Recently after the band broke up, I decided to further my education and went to Musicians Institute in Hollywood California. There I was taught by the best guitar players in the world. Marty Friedman, Paul Gilbert, Scott Henderson, Tommy Emmanuel and Johnny Hiland were just a few of the great players who gave clinics there. I received a degree in Guitar Performance and the knowledge I received there made me UNDERSTAND the mystery that is the guitar.

I can teach Rock/Metal, Country (lead and rhythm), Blues, Alternative, Acoustic, Classical, Chord Melody, Melodic Soloing, Twang, Chords, Scales, Modes, Many different lead and rhythm techniques a
nd more importantly any song you want to go over.

I feel learning to play your favorite songs is the most important and the most fun about guitar playing. After playing songs, some of the information given (scales, chords, theory, ear-training) starts to make some since and you begin to slowly figure the guitar out.

Theory and Ear-training I feel are very important to learn when trying to understand music. It just gives you a basic mathematical way of understanding how music works. It can be very frustrating to learn and takes some time to sink in so if you don't want to learn it then that is great. Ear-training is cool because when you start to understand it you can actually hear music and not just listen to it. You can listen to a chord progression on the radio and go home and play it and also improvise over it.

I encourage BEGINNERS through EXPERT to at least hear what I have to say. I have A LOT of information to give about the guitar. I played for ten years made 2 demo CDs, one full length album, another demo specifically for Metal Blade Records, was in a big cover band and so I thought I knew it all and was a great guitar player. Then I went to GUITAR SCHOOL in Hollywood and reality hit me.
I wasn't as good as I thought. When you hear the best guitar players in the world everyday for a year and a half like I did at Musicians Institute it makes you want to be better and practice, practice, practice. I learned everything there about guitar and music and I know the Right way to teach.

Please consider me for your guitar teacher I will make it fun and a good learning experience as well.

Thank you,
Ben

*** Lesson Details ***
It depends on what level the student is on and that is where we will go with the lesson. If you are a beginner we will start with the very basics. I try to make it to where you can easily understand everything taught. The most important part of the lesson is you are having fun with playing the guitar and also getting as much information as possible. Upper level students may want to go over a song they are learning or want to know about theory or chords. Usually we will talk about where you are at with your playing and then go from there.

Thanks.

I have been teaching piano lessons for several years now, to students ranging from 4 to 50 years of age. In the first lesson, students can expect to learn the musical alphabet, location of middle C, the correct posture and hand position, as well as some simple musical exercises depending upon the student's age and ability. My goal in teaching is to help people gain an understanding and appreciation of the piano, as well as the workings of music as a whole. While my background is in classical piano, I enjoy working with students on any style of music that utilizes sheet music.

About Maureen
Maureen has been teaching private voice and piano lessons since 2009, and currently runs her own studio, as well as traveling to students' homes to teach lessons. She teaches anyone with an interest and willingness to learn, regardless of experience level.

Maureen received her Master of Music from the University of Maryland 2017 with an emphasis in Opera Performance. Her teaching style is tailored for each individual student, in that what works for one student won't necessarily work for the next (particularly in regards to singers), and strives towards finding the optimal method that encourages and helps students to improve. She firmly believes that anyone who is willing to dedicate the time and effort to learning a new instrument is capable of doing so, and looks forward to helping new students achieve their goals.

Maureen is a fantastic teacher for anyone looking to improve their singing skills. I came in with no background in music, and she was very capable in assessing my level and getting me started on exercises and practices to improve my vocal control, posture, and more. She is very friendly and patient, and is always excited to practice and improve. I would definitely recommend Maureen for beginners and beyond who are looking to improve their singing.

My 6 year old granddaughter has been taking piano lessons from Alexander K. since for about 4 months now. I chose Alexander as a result of the number of years he has been teaching piano lessons to young kids. He is doing a great job teaching her. He is very patience with her inquisitive mind and leads her at her pace. She likes his teaching skills and has learned a lot in this short time. I am very impressed with the progress she has made. I plan to continue the lessons for as long as possible. Thanks Alexander for the great job you are doing with my granddaughter!

I teach piano holistically, encouraging a well-rounded knowledge of the piano and various genres of music. Along with technique, I encourage the student's exploration of the piano by improvisation. As a sight-reading lover, I also teach sight-reading so students can easily discover pieces on their own. I want students to develop the proper foundations to discover music at their own leisure.

About Elisa
Elisa comes from a family of pianists and piano teachers.

She is the church pianist at Sachse UMC in Plano, and was keyboardist of SMU’s World Music Ensemble.

Sightreading music and teaching are her favorite things. And she has a channel dedicated to movitating people to learn new music. She records and uploads piano songs once a week.

In 2013 she attended University of Rochester, and took piano lessons at Eastman School of Music in Rochester, New York. Soon after she was accepted to Southern Methodist University's Division of Music for Piano.

Elisa loves helping her students cultivate their passion for music, whatever style it may be. She loves the journey of music discovery, and is excited to share her knowledge of piano with her students!

I was looking for someone who could help me fine tune my existing skills (20 yrs), learn new methods, and build my confidence back up. Natasha has exceeded all my expectations! She is able to listen and advise on any style (classical/pop/rock/musical) I've brought to lessons with her wide range of techniques. She teaches appropriately for my experienced skill level and tailors each session to my needs. We have tons of fun while putting in good work. She makes room for my discovery and has amazing tips for even the most challenging aspects of pieces. I look forward to class every week so I can collaborate with Natasha on making my work the best it can be!

I grew up being trained classically, and although I value the skills I learned from classical training, I realized that I did miss out on the other aspect of learning piano skills. Those skills include improvisation, creativity, song-writing, and much more! I purposefully incorporate more than just sheet music reading while also trying to make reading music more accessible and relatable. Each student also has different individual goals with piano playing that I think are of utmost importance in the way I teach.

About Jenna
I am a pianist, singer, choral director and lover of many different genres of music from classical and jazz to musical theatre and indie/folk. I graduated from John Brown University in Siloam Springs, Arkansas with a Bachelor's of Music Education, emphasis in Piano.

If you are studying voice with me, I think you'll find that I am passionate about connecting each of my students to the own unique beauty of their voice and using that connection to bring about free singing, confidence and musicality by way of foundational singing technique. I also have extensive training in a cappella arranging/singing if you are interested in learning how to start/direct your own a cappella group.

My training in classical piano began when I was five year old and I've had some incredible instructors along the way who have enhanced my skills in contempor
ary keyboard, including beginning-intermediate jazz and jazz improvisation. I love to teach students to read sheet music and pursue classical/technical excellence, but also to learn how to play music using chord charts, by ear or all three, depending on your personal goals and preferences.

With a passion for music theory and improv techniques, I love to help students who are aspiring songwriters to develop that creative side, especially in combination with learning piano skills -- they pair very well together!

The most successful musicians I know are well-rounded and have developed solid foundations in technique so that they can perform well in many different styles and adapt quickly. This is such a necessary skill in today's technological world where we can share music from across the world with a click of a button! In my lessons, I love to help my students study a variety of genres.

Speaking of technology, I'd like to make a quick plug for my husband :) He is a fantastic videographer and primarily works for a film producer in the DFW area, but he also loves doing independent creative work on the side. He has experience creating quality music videos and would love to create content for any student interested in this!

I really look forward to meeting you and helping you become a confident, skilled musician!

Jenna is very gifted and instinctive music instructor. She is quick to adapt to the needs at hand. I was trained classically all the way through college, and wanted help in playing by ear. Jenna gave me incredible assistance in this area and opened up the world of improvisation to me! I have also watched her train high school singers to amazing skill levels in the acappella arena. Jenna is incredibly versatile, technology-savvy, and one of the most positive instructors I have ever met!

I am a skilled pianist, with a background in ELA teaching.

I come from a classical, but creative perspective. It is important to learn the theory of piano, (note names, composers, styles), but it also incredibly important to connect with music itself. I teach piano to lots of different styles of learning, and I think I can help you learn piano quicker than you expected!

I teach children, teenagers, and adults!

About Joy
Hi!

It is never too EARLY or too LATE to learn piano!
If your looking for a fun summer activity for your kids that you can schedule in the morning, afternoon, or early evening - you've found me!

If your hunting for an adult teacher you can feel comfortable learning an activity you've always dreamed of doing, and need evening or weekend lessons - I am great for you!

Who am I?
I am a pedagogical trained English and Piano teacher, which means I bring organized creativity to piano lessons.
Music is the gift that will continue with you, whether it is the theory of it (that shows to help with Math and Science), the creativity of it (composing and discovering new music), or the physical engagement of the body (the physical skill of learning piano).

Why Pick Me?
I've played classical piano since I was 5, and have been teachin
g since I was 15. I'm here to help you learn, whatever your learning style, ambition, or needs! I think I really try to connect with every student to give you the type of learning experience you need to become a great piano player!

I work with children as young as 4 years old (as long as they know numbers, they can learn!). I've worked with individuals who have never had piano lessons until their late 40-50's. It's never too late to learn!
