Hello all! I just can't say enough great things about Roula. She works around technical difficulties like a pro. She always has a plan for the lesson, and adapts to the student according to their progress. My favorite thing about my lessons with her is her genuine interest in helping me become more capable in my language. I knew from my first lesson that she was a special kind of teacher. Won't be leaving her until I'm good and fluent.

I've been teaching French for 6 years and my students have gone on to develop a deep love of French culture, study abroad in French speaking countries, and more! Within the first few lessons, you'll start speaking simple sentences and as time goes on, you'll be able to conjugate like a pro! I typically use the living language books, and have the following tools available for your lessons: recording equipment, worksheets, textbooks, and more. I love working with students of all experience levels and can't wait to meet you!

About Helen
Hi, there! My name is Helen and I can't wait to meet you!
I've been teaching private lessons since 2009 and have loved helping my students to speak a new language, to successfully pass their exams, and to increase their language confidence.
I went to National University of Donetsk (Ukraine) and earned a Master’s degree in French language and literature in 2010. I'm a patient and easy going person and my teaching methods always depend on student’s age and language needs. I look forward to helping you reach your goals!

I took lessons with Evelyne wanting to refresh my high-school French and she's been fantastic. She brings the best attitude, very encouraging, helpful, and patient. Not only is she a native speaker (which is great), she also understands the grammatical structure of the language very well and knows how to present new material in a way that doesn't overwhelm you. She followed up every lesson with an email which made it easier for me to memorize new vocabulary. Overall, it's been a great experience and I highly recommend her.
