Whether you want to play classical violin, fiddle like a bluegrass star, or perform like your favorite pop artists, I can set you on the path to success! My private students range in age from 4 to 40 years old, and I have gone on to become music teachers, composers, and professional musicians. My most influential teachers have been members of The Philadelphia Orchestra and graduates of The Curtis Institute of Music.

If not, I will show you how to tune on Day One. Instructional books will be purchased by the student/parents based on my recommendation based on the students level.

I have over twenty years of professional performance experience. I have performed around the world as an orchestral musician, soloist, and chamber musician. A graduate of a top music conservatory with multiple degrees, I have most recently played with the New York Philharmonic for the past 6 years.
I have had success teaching young beginners, as a Suzuki trained teacher, high school students preparing for college or orchestral auditions, as well as adults revisiting their passion for music.
I teach through demonstration, and provide musical and technical support finding the best repertoire appropriate for each musician. I believe this study will provide a great love of the skill and discipline of the violin, and ultimately allow you share music with others with the biggest impact. I look forward to working with you.
