In the years since high school, Dwight has kept up with my son, even though he chose a non-music career path and a life in the north east. We will be forever grateful for Dwight and the influence he has had on my son in particular, and, for his influence on the whole family for deepening our appreciation of beautiful music. Thank you, Dwight!

Unlike many instructors who simply use the same cookie-cutter method in their teaching, I believe in adapting to each individual student for consistent progress. By meeting them "where they are," focusing on their learning style, and developing a systematic approach to fixing bad habits and eliminating weaknesses in their playing, every single one of my students achieves musical growth, command of the instrument, and an overarching love of music.
My two decades of professional experience both as performer and instructor allows me to draw on multiple methods, exercises, and repertoire that will help you develop your full potential while always enjoying your musical journey.
About Geronimo
Music has been a passion of mine since I can remember, both as a performer and as a pedagogue. I have experienced firsthand the transformative, healing, and communicative power of music, so my ultimate goal is to share my expertise through teaching and performing. I am a classically-trained viol

Book NowAs a vocal teacher, I am able to teach my students how to sing in a mix with a relaxed larynx. This allows students to sing many styles of music properly and in a vocally healthy way. Singing through the bridges and expanding the vocal range is also emphasized. We will work on proper vowel placement as well. I teach ear training and can work with students on sight singing and interval training. I encourage my students to learn all styles of singing including classical, rock, pop, broadway and jazz. I've also worked with several singer/songwriters, helping to polish original songs and have even coached them in the studio.

Book NowI am thrilled to hear that you or your kid is ready to start taking drum lessons! I have been teaching drum set and percussion for ten years, and last year finished my master's in percussion performance at CU, after a music education degree in Michigan.
I start my students off with "repeat after me" style exercises, to develop technique, coordination, and musical tone on the instruments. Then, we can dig into playing the music (s)he loves! I'm always curious to hear if there is a certain band or drummer my student admires.
About Stephen
Hey drummers! I am a working drummer and percussionist in all major styles, from blues, funk, and jazz to classical and marching band. In my off time, I enjoy playing in the mountains with my girlfriend and our cat.

I've been playing guitar for about 20 years, but haven't taken any formal lessons in the past 15 of those. I felt like I was in a rut with my playing so I started taking lessons with Ahmad a few months ago. He was able to immediately help me improve my technique and help me correct some inefficiencies that I didn't even notice I was doing. The word "inefficiencies" in the last sentence was chosen very deliberately because Ahmad has a great way of showing that there are multiple ways to play the instrument and not one specific "right" and "wrong" way.
I feel like I've made more progress in the last 4 months than I had in years."

When it comes to learning how to sing rock music, what do you need to know? Find out in this article by Saint Augustine, FL teacher Heather L... Rock singers are not exactly known for having impeccable technique or healthy vocal habits. So it might seem strange that a classically trained singer and professional voice teacher has anything to say about singing rock music, but I do. First, I believe that it's wrong to dismiss rock singers as undisciplined slackers with little interest in …
