I provide classical instruction in portraiture, still life and landscape in your studio or mine. In this traditional approach to drawing and painting, what will be taught and focused upon are perspective, value and composition in order for the student to develop strong visual language skills. The program of study begins with a specific focus on drawing, since drawing is the foundation upon which all great traditional art is built. Throughout this training, emphasis will be placed on accuracy, or more specifically, seeing and rendering correctly such things as line quality, hard and soft edges, proportion, positive and negative space through abstract form and the use of the full range of values.
I'm a graduate of Dean College in Franklin, MA and The School of the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston where I majored in art history and studio art with a focus on portrait painting and illustration. I continued further study at the Andeeva Portrait Academy in Sante Fe New Mexico, the Los Angeles Acad

Besides having a BS in Economics and MBA I would bring in real world events. This will allow the student to see how Economics applies to the real world. I will use one significant example: I taught an Economics course at the beginning of 2002. At that time the effects of 911 were being felt all through the economy. There was a slow down in the economy because people were staying home and watching their television sets for the latest of what was going on. This event also caused uncertainty now only in the US but world wide.
In addition to my education I have been in the banking industry for over 20 years. I would bring that experience to the table for more real world experience. I was in the front lines when seeing what the effects of the "great recession" was doing.
I am very big on graphs for teaching Economics. I can say before college this was not the case, but while at college I learned how graphs show you how changes in one variable can effect another variable which is what ...

I have been teaching college accounting fundamentals professionally for 7 years, and 15 years experience in bookkeeping for small businesses. I have a specific teaching curriculum with an emphasis on applying real life business simulations to ensure a greater understanding of how money flows in and out of a business. You will learn how to create a chart-of-accounts, posting to journals and ledgers to produce financial reports.
My personal passion is helping people understand the importance of proper bookkeeping applying General Accepted Accounting Principles to help a business succeed and to reduce anxiety when a business gets audited.

As a working actor on Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, Superstore, E.R., The Thundermans, Fresh Off The Boat and many more, there are few things I love as much as assisting students in making breakthroughs and discoveries. Over the past 15 years I have worked with clients from Tony Award winning theaters to high-school applicants. With proven strategies we will fling fears out the window and build our confidence. We'll pump up our presentation muscles to be heard, take focus, and fill a room no matter the size.
From the hit TV comedy Crazy Ex-Girlfriend to drama at The Tony Award winning Steppenwolf Theater, my 20 year acting career has taught me many lessons to share. As a working writer/director this has only grown. I love teaching. There are few things as rewarding as being a part of a students deve

Kids who love to write may be off and running once the pen hits their hand, but other children might not feel comfortable writing unless given a few creative writing prompts. Creative prompts encourage imagination and provide a jumping off point for journal entries and stories. Even children who love to write may find it easier to work from a prompt because it gives them an area of focus - and it's fun! As a parent, one of the best ways to encourage your child's love of the written word is to pr …
