I grew up playing club tennis, played 4 years of varsity tennis in high school, was offered college scholarships to play in college, and was an tennis pro at a Swim and Tennis Club in Cincinnati, Ohio.

I understand body mechanics and have experience as an educator. These two attributes, as well as numerous friends who I've helped, make me believe that I can help anyone raise their game to the next level.

About Joshua

I am a tutor who earned a music teaching degree, substitute taught, and didn't become a school teacher. I held professional tech retail jobs and am supplementing my life with my passion - education. Whatever subject or instrument I teach, I celebrate students' successes; and I enjoy helping lear

Our son first time playing bassoon. Base on my son experience, he find Joshua to be very nice, patients, and explains a lot of information. It help him understand about the instrument and the sound when he play. He do have a sense of humor which help my son to have fun and be more comfortable. He also teaches other instruments, too. Highly recommended to everyone!!!!

"I have been hesitant to write a review for Tom in fear of his schedule getting too busy to fit us in! We love Tom, he has been teaching my son (12) for almost a year now. He is so patient, kind, and gentle but at the same time encouraging and pushes him in just the right way. His technique is solid and my son has made excellent progress with Tom's instruction. I highly recommend lessons with Tom, just don't take our spot. ;)"

"A little over a year ago, after a 6 year hiatus, I was looking to get back to playing tennis again. I found Tom on this website and he was able to reintroduce me to the basics and get me to a point where I feel confident enough to join a tennis league. I am more consistent, have better footwork, and am better than I ever was.

Tom is passionate about tennis and teaching. He is friendly, patient, and tailors the lessons to match the students learning style. He has a lot of experience teaching students with a wide variety of skill levels. Tom also has played the game at the highest level, so he is able to provide insight that other less experienced instructors do not have.

If you are considering tennis lessons, I highly recommend Tom."
