I wasn't Tom's student per se but he and I went over lots of material for our various cover bands and he's a very thorough, patient teacher, very adamant about getting parts exactly right but willing to listen to occasional disagreements. highly recommended!

my experience

Tom really knows his way around a bass. Each time I go for a lesson, i leave happy about the things we've accomplished in the lesson. Anything that i would like to learn Tom makes it possible for me to do so. I started getting lessons in order to not slow down on my playing. With my schedule constantly changing Tom has been very nice at accommodating when possible.

Our daughter is taking lessons with Doniell and after every lesson is thrilled to share her experiences. Doniell has been exceedingly accomodating of our schedule, making it absolutely pleasant to work with her. We are a homeschool family and she offered time outside of evening hours. We had several illnesses and issues with travel during the snow this past winter and she has always been understanding and patient with rescheduling. Our daughter is very enthusiastic about piano and many things in life, we are thankful we have Doniell to guide her as she continues to develop a passion for music.

Our daughters have been taking Piano lessons with Doniell for 3 years.
They respond well to her teaching style and she challenges them in all the right ways. She offers a great mix of theory with the piano lessons.
We have enjoyed the annual Piano Recitals that Doniell's students participate in.
As a parent I have always found Doniell to be extremely responsive to our schedule for which i am always appreciative
I am looking forward to seeing their progress in the coming year

About Michael
I am avid traveler. I Have lived in Los Angeles, Chicago and Miami in the last 3 years. I went to college for music and ended up creating a career in visual merchandising.

I first started teaching guitar lessons locally on days off. While living in Miami I discovered I have a knack for teaching english as well. Upon my departure I was thanked by 3 students for the lessons but above all how much english they learned while conversing with me during lessons.

Teaching online excited me because of how many more people are available to learn during times I am available. I look forward to meeting you and helping you learn!
