About Zaky
Hi, my name is Zak! Music is a beautiful thing. It has the so much power. It can be used to send a message, move and inspire people. Music can impact emotions, it is a beautiful and powerful thing!

Music, and teaching have always been a big passion in my life. The ability to take knowledge of a subject that you have, and show, share, and shape someone and pass on that knowledge to them. It is an amazing feeling. I am a passionate, and caring instructor. My teaching style is encouraging, motivating, and educational. I fully believe that you can do anything you set your mind to, and I use that by showing my students that I believe in them.

I use a curriculum that was taught to me, and has been used in schools and universities. This curriculum fits all age groups and skill levels. Starting with Rock, moving to Funk, ending with Jazz.
When drumming playing with music, learning improvisation, and playing by ear is important. I also focus on this, having students learn their favorite songs, and learn to play with new music as well. This keeps students interested, and adds a fun personal element to their lessons. I also have implemented use of a teaching app, so while practicing if students have a question they can ask me right then so to not forget, and I can give feedback. It also has a practice tracker tool. If you have any questions feel free to email me.

I look forward to meeting you, and helping you reach your music goals!

Zaky is great with my son who has a history of brain injury which causes him to have short term memory problems. In just a few weeks he has much more confidence in himself and is even a slight bit ahead in band class. He is now able to help some of the other students which he loves. There are very few things that at school that don't overwhelm him, and Zaky has helped him find success in music.

Paul does a great job of balancing the theoretical and applied. He focuses on developing strong fundamentals and good habits but also delves into songs that apply new skills learned along the way at the appropriate pace. As a beginner, Paul has helped me get off to a good start where I'm learning a lot but also having a lot of fun.

A big plus is that he's got a real down-to-earth personality that makes the lessons even more enjoyable and really interesting to talk to about all things drums and otherwise.

My son has taken lessons with Paul for over 5 years. Not only is Paul an accomplished musician, he's a great teacher. His teaching style is positive and supportive. He has modified my son's lessons through the years, as his goals and needs have changed. Paul has always been professional, reliable and enthusiastic. He genuinely seems to enjoy what he does, and as a bonus, Paul is also a really nice guy, who has had a positive influence on my teenage son's life.

Hello all!
I am a musician and lover of all things creative. I have been singing professionally, myself, for over ten years. Some of my greatest training came from singing in a capella quartet that has been awarded international championships. I've studied all kinds of music from classical to pop, jazz, country and Broadway. I started teaching lessons in collage and now work full time as a music teacher. I have also studied yoga, movement, flexibility and strength for many years on my own. And for those who are interested in calligraphy or knitting, I have been known to be a constant crafter. Mostly, I love teaching for the light bulb moment when somebody "gets" something they didn't before. I love working with people of all ages and levels!

Bridget has been a saving grace for my family, helping my 11 yr old daughter with math. Through her calm demeanor and patience she managed to help my daughter bring a failing math grade to a solid B. Bridget has been able to teach my daughter in a way that connects with her. Facing the rest of this long school year seems much easier knowing we have Bridget to help get us over those pesky humps with the dreaded 6th grade math.

About Ellen
I am a Board Certified Coach (BCC). This credential is a mark of distinction for credential holders and a source of credibility for their clients.

I also have a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Pittsburgh and a B.A. in Psychology from Wellesley College. As a licensed psychologist, I also practice psychotherapy (totally separate from my coaching practice).

In both coaching and psychotherapy, my approach is what is called "solution focused." That means that the focus is on helping people meet their goals by discovering and building on what's already working in their lives. With this approach, it isn't necessary to know everything about the past or even the problem to create solutions now.

I developed the "Doing What Works" and "Solution Focused Anxiety Management" programs and have facilitated them with hundred
s of participants.

I've had the privilege of teaching solution focused practice to many people. I've presented workshops on my “doing what works approach” to solution focused practice in the USA and abroad.

I am also an author. My most recent book, on decision making, is "How Do You Know When You Know?" A recent review of this book described it as "full of practical guidelines, relevant information, and examples written in an easy to read and engaging style... Ellen is a well-respected and revered giant in the field. Her brilliance extends to psychotherapy, coaching, writing and training."

I've also written books for professionals, "Solution Focused Anxiety Management," Doing What Works in Brief Therapy: A Strategic Solution Focused Approach" (1st and 2nd Editions), and "Core Competencies in the Solution Focused and Strategic Therapies." (The latter is part of a series on three primary approaches to practice, considered to be psychodynamic, cognitive behavioral, and solution focused. I had the honor of being asked to author the volume on solution focused practice).

With these experiences, I'm ready to help you discover strategies for riding through and beyond rough patches and bumps in the road. It would be my privilege to accompany you on your journey.

Life coaching is about partnering up with a coach who will become your number one cheerleader in a way that even your closest family members cannot be. Ellen is a great coach for that role because she listens to and really HEARS what's on your mind and in your heart. She offers strategies that will help you make sense of your life and help you get unstuck. If you're looking to make sense of a difficult situation in your life, to start/complete a project, or are going through changes, I recommend that you work with Ellen.

About Nicole
Imagine lying down on your mat. You take a deep breath, expand your lungs and belly, and allow yourself to melt more into the mat with every exhalation. Your whole body relaxes. Your mind relaxes. You feel the energy you just created in a your yoga class and let go. You notice the energy flowing from the top of your head, down your body and you know you just created something special. That's what my very first yoga class was like almost 15 years ago. I fell in love with yoga and now I share my knowledge and passion for yoga, meditation, and all things health and wellness related to students every day.

I have been practicing and learning for almost 15 years love helping others improve their lives. I'm a 200-RYT, NASM Certified personal trainer, meditation and Reiki 1 & 2 practitioner. I have been teaching students ages 15-90 from begi
nner to advance. I truly enjoy inspiring students to learn to love their body & mind more and improve their quality of life. In each class students have the opportunity to learn

• Breath-work
• Relaxation techniques
• Poses, modifications, and variations
• Consistency and mindfulness
• Proper form and techniques
• Different forms of meditation
• Mind/muscle connection
• Concentration and endurance
• Yogic history and philosophy

The more I teach the more I learn and I put in the effort to practice on and off the mat. You’re smart, so you already know anything worth doing takes work and consistency. Yoga teaches you that. In order to see its benefits you need to be consistent. That's why it's called a yoga practice. According to Harvard Health and Psychology Today yoga benefits beyond the mat include but are not limited to:

• Increased Vitality
• Reduced Fatigue and Inflammation
• Better Body Image
• Regulated Cortisol (Your stress hormone)
• Elevated Mood
• Overall better quality of life

I’ve learned the times I need yoga the most are the times I try to avoid it. So what are you avoiding? I like to have open communication with my students and create a class to suit their needs because everybody is different just like every body is different. Sign up for classes with me today and allow me to be your guide as you embark on an amazing journey, guaranteed to change your life.

Namaste and with love,

Nicole

Nicole is a fantastic teacher with a genuine desire to help. She will teach you how to gain a further understanding of each pose and give you tiny tweaks on how to go deeper. When you think you have reached your physical limit you'll hear her whisper breathe and you'll sink deeper into it. Absolutely incredible at what she does.

About Kaity
My goal as a wellness practitioner is to facilitate individual and community wellness through empowering my students and clients in their own paths towards healing. As a Yoga Therapist, I recognize how radically different yoga and healing practices look for each individual based on their unique body, conditioning, personality, and constitution.

My personal journey into yoga, meditation, and healing practices began early on in my youth through the influence of my yogi father. Over time, these practices have become a part of who I am. Yoga has created long-lasting wakefulness, stillness, and resiliency into my body, mind, and spirit. The practices have profoundly uplifted my life, and inspired me to help others to apply them.

My group classes, workshops, and retreats are designed as guided journeys of self-discovery intended to bring
more balance, harmony, and peace of mind into my students’ lives. My teaching is strongly rooted in the Kripalu and Yoga Therapy traditions.

In Yoga Therapy sessions, we will explore a wide variety of healing modalities suited to your individual needs and wellness goals, whether they are physical, emotional, mental, or spiritual. These sessions are designed to cultivate deep relaxation, increased body awareness, self-acceptance, and peace of mind.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Upon deciding to begin Yoga Therapy with Kaity Rose, you will be given an intake questionnaire to complete for Kaity to gain a larger understanding of your physical, emotional, mental and spiritual goals. Based on this intake process, a yoga class is created specifically for you. Your first session will typically last 90 minutes for further intake.

After your initial assessment, you will practice a personalized session with your Yoga Therapist. You are welcome to record your session to practice again at home. Your personal protocol will be written up, in most cases, for ease in taking the practice home. Results are dependent on your commitment to practice the techniques daily. Expected practice time is approximately 20 minutes/day.

The following techniques may be used, dependent on what you and your Yoga Therapist deem fit:

- Yoga
- Somatics
- Postural Alignment and Movement Dynamics
- Myofascial Ball-Work
- Ayurveda
- Breath Work
- Meditation
- Yoga Nidra
- Lifestyle Suggestions
- Stress Management Tools

Yoga Therapy does not replace your doctor’s advice. However, Yoga Therapy is extremely complementary to Western medical advice.

Kaity teaches for ALL body types, ALL genders and ALL ages! I definitely don't feel like I don't fit in or can't keep up. Kaity did an amazing job holding space for me to get into a rhythm with my poses. She provided a very well formed balance between guiding me into a deep practice and allowing me to have space and silence. She is professional, nurturing and understands the dynamics of yoga at an advance level. I am not very flexible so she was able to give me adjustments that are safe for my body type but still stretch me at the same time. She also has a great mindful presence that added to the depth of the practice... Definitely going to do more sessions with her.
