I've been teaching painting for 15 years and my students have gone on to develop a deep love of acrylic, oil, watercolor and mixed media painting and created their own beautiful masterpieces in landscape, abstract, still life and other subjects! Within the first few lessons, you'll start understanding the elements of art such as light, shadows, perspective etc. and as time goes on, you'll be able to paint like a pro! I love working with students of all experience levels and see them leave with their hearts and souls painted into their masterpieces.

About Renata
I teach a variety of subjects ranging from oil, acrylic watercolor, drawing to cooking and baking even sourdough bread baking.

I have been teaching painting for over 10 years and my students have gone on to develop a deep love of acrylic, oil, watercolor and mixed media painting and created their own beautiful masterpieces in landscape, abstract, still life and other subjects! Within the first few lessons, you'll start understanding the elements of art such as light, shadows, perspective etc. and as time goes on, you'll be able to paint like a pro! I love working with students of all experience levels.

I also teach cooking from scratch with the best ingredients. Be it Asian, Mediterranean, Middle-Eastern cuisine; I teach them all and more. I even teach to bake bread with my own home-grown sourdough starter. So, please join me fo
r a fantastic session and learn some basics or other skills that only chefs know. Once we have cooked a delicious meal, we sit together and enjoy it over a glass of wine or whatever you like. As an option you may take home the remaining portions, usually enough for 3-5 days. But you don't have to. You only pay for the food you eat which is a fraction of a restaurant meal and yet much better.

Renata was simply amazing
She made a wonderful meal for us, all while sharing some great cooking tips and stories.
The Salmon was marinated/seasoned and cooked to perfection. The Rice, Kale Salad, and Fresh Bruschetta with French Bread were such a hit, everyone had clean plates by the end of the demo.
Renata came with everything that she needed to prepare the food and even set up/cleaned up everything with no interruption to the rest of our office.
The ones who didn’t participate couldn’t even tell what she had prepared, saying that they didn’t smell any after smell.
Once they learned that we ate Fish/Salmon… Complete Shock.. hehe
Renata is an amazing teacher who is very well versed in culinary arts, she knows many tips and tricks for creating wonderful, flavorful meals.. Thank you for everything, Renata!

I understand and honor everyone has a unique way of approaching and looking at things...which doesn't mean I won't challenge you to try another way! Bob Ross to Salvador Dali. Open medium and maybe we'll try some new ones to find your unique method. Realistic to stylized. (Sorry Boo, no abstract)

About Zoe
Zoe began her career as an artist at Walt Disney World in Orlando, FL. Bent on pursuing her career, she returned to Ohio to achieve her art Degree. Eventually, she found her way to Los Angeles, working in the dark side of Hollywood, as a storyboard and concept artist in indie horror on such films as the “Hatchet” movie series and “The Collector.” A diverse artist, Zoe spent 8 years designing collectibles and creating original souvenirs for such notable clients as Disney, Hard Rock Cafe and Sea World. She finds a strange balance between making cute Disney characters by day and planning out slashing people to bits by night.

Zoe has always been an innovator of process and assisting peers, colleges and clients in more efficient ways to create art. Not your typical shy artist, she has been a regular of sci-fi, comic and similar circuit conv
entions as a panelist and fun teacher of acrylics for a Friday night Paint and Wine. Currently, she has returned home to SoCal and building new and exciting ventures in the art world.

She uses Illustrator and Photoshop nearly every day for the past 13 years along with her lifetime of skills as a traditional artist to accomplish a WIDE variety of tasks from more artistic to technical layouts.

...and you will have fun!

Love art but never thought you could draw or paint? I believe that anyone can create works of art, if you learn how and practice. With my help, you will learn the foundation of drawing, as well as techniques of painting in Graphite, Watercolor, and Acrylic paint. All this while tailoring everything to your personal needs and tastes!

Curious about my background? I have been drawing since I was 4 years old, received my Bachelor's Degree in Media Arts and Animation, then went on to work on my Master's Degree in Painting.

Interested in learning with me or finding out more information? Send me a message, let's get to know each other!

About Jessi
I am a professional artist, board game designer, and animator. I graduated from the Art Institute of Houston with a Bachelors in Media Arts and Animation and am working towards my Masters Degree in Painting.

My students can expect to improve with every week in not only your drawing skills, but also your painting techniques. Every artist is different and I will strive to bring out your inner artist that I know you have! You have a voice, I will teach you to tear down your artistic walls and unlock your individual expression.

I work in several different mediums, including, but not limited to, Graphite, Watercolor, Acrylic, Digital, Ballpoint pen, and Sidewalk Chalk. I have been drawing since I was 4 and taught myself. At the age of 14, I went with my family to Disney World, where I sat in on a drawing lesson by one of the artists of 'The
Lion King.' It made such an impact on me, that I still remember what he drew, Zazu.

I teach art students of all different ages and experience levels. I can teach you to draw using graphite pencils as well as paint in different mediums, including watercolor and acrylic. I love to mentor students with a passion, as that is where some of our best work comes from!

Educated in Europe, I was always inspired by my teachers and travels to continue honing my artistic skills. With practice, anybody can develop their own style, and I believe it's my duty to pass on the knowledge that was instilled in me as a young artist.
Expression of one's soul in art may be sometimes stronger than words, something that psychologists have proven for years.

About Isabela
I'm an enthusiastic learner even after 19 years of formal education (two Masters, one Bachelor) earned on two continents continued by US military education in various forms, and formally tested student who needed to document skills that were not formally captured on paper (like the foreign languages I know).

I love interacting with people and pass on my knowledge from five visited continents, instill love for learning and continuous curiosity for any subject out there. Nothing is impossible when you set your mind to it. Failing once doesn't mean that you'll never win (proof in my athletic years and life ever since); determination, hard work, self-motivation and a good supporting system can bring to reality even the most insignificant dreams that we believe may not come true, and especially those in which we passionately trust.

I be
lieve in breaking down a goal into objectives, assigning tasks to each one of them, and then sticking to achieve them.

I'm a Certified Instructor with the Department of Homeland Security. My hobbies include practicing foreign languages by speaking them, learning about cultures and slangs, etymology, watching foreign movies, traveling internationally, taking photos, reading (a lot), carefully planning with room for error and impulsive decisions (to take the boredom out of things), meeting with life long friends, drawing, painting, and spending time outdoors for inspiration.

I'm elated at the opportunity of brainstorming with you and giving you tools to be an independent learner.

If you want to learn how to paint, I’m your girl! I have been teaching beginners painting lessons for over 4 years now. I have had students of all kinds of skill levels. I have taken the college painting courses for you. All you need to do is show up and paint with me so I can pass on my knowledge. I believe art can change a persons life. It can be a hobby, but it can also be a discipline that opens doors for years to come. There is always room for improvement. I specialize in pop, alternative, landscape, and portrait painting. I am very flexible and would love to do request paintings as well! Let’s grow together.

About Danielle
I Have been painting For the last 12 years. Every artist has room for improvement including myself. I studied painting and art in college. In the college setting the teachers learned just as much from the students- and our lessons will be no different. I plan to go back one day for my MFA.

My artistic style is very unique. I blend symbolism, nature, and the human form to make my finished pieces. I work in acrylic paints regularly but I also have experience in ink, watercolor, graphite, and oils. My teaching experience is in beginners painting: simple landscapes, people, abstracts, and animals. I am hoping with repeat lessons I can further those aspects of painting into a deeper kind of learning. Things like balance, composition, scale, and meaning are all great tools when designing or making a painting. I would love to help someone make a p
iece of art based off the basic skills mentioned above. This would require repeat classes and a disciplined student.

My favorite thing to teach beginners how to paint are landscapes. They are the most forgiving and serve as wonderful learning tools. I can teach you how to select the supplies you will need, how to prepare surfaces for painting, a specific painting step by step, how color affects your work, and why light is so important in artistic endeavors. Plus so much more.

Art is something that is engrained in my soul and will forever be a part of my life. If you have always wanted to develop your skill in the arts, use your hands to create, or just want to start a new hobby I can help you do that. I look forward to meeting you and hope our time together yields some fantastic creative results.
