My son is a BEGINNER beginner. Rodrigo is a very nice guy and seems to know his stuff very well. I would give him 5 stars but I don't think he realized that my son needed the basic, basic 1st lesson (i.e. how to hold the instrument). We've only attended one session so this is fully based on that one lesson. I'm sure he'll adjust his teaching from here on out.

I lived in Mexico for twenty-three years. I am now living in the United States and I have learned the English language, this gives me a first-hand understanding of the process of learning and teaching a foreign language.

Through my experience I apply different teaching methods. Learning a new language is a beautiful, fun and exciting experience, involving consistency, and memorization skills. Every student has a different learning style, and I am committed to provide a variety of learning opportunities for my students’ to achieve their goals.

One thing I love about teaching is bringing the arts into the process of learning. We may sing in the language and even paint to help learn. I've taught younger than Kindergarten all the way to adults, so feel comfortable that you'll grow in your conversational skills, as well as, beginner vocabulary. Let me highlight that I'm passionate about "phonetics," which is the study and classification of speech sounds. In other words, you are going to learn how to sound like a native speaker when you take my class.

About Loren
I'm an artist, musician, and language aficionada. I have a Bachelor's Degree from the University of Georgia, graduating with honors as a Magna Cum Laude in Spanish and French Linguistics. I am fluent in both languages.

Why do I like to bring art and music into the learning journey? Let me tell you one of the biggest secrets I've dis
covered. Art and music can allow you to make a joyful memory, which takes the fleeting moment into the longterm part of your brain, causing you to remember more and put it into what you call "muscle memory" all because you're happy!

Speaking of the arts, I play guitar, ukulele, charango, piano, and I sing! I've been a musician since 2000, and I've successfully turned a hobby into something my husband and I have been doing full time for several years. For beginners, something that works best is taking a song that you LOVE and turning it into your anthem on the instrument of your choice. So pick your song and message me!

Last but not least, I'm a painter. Painting is my favorite part of any day. About my childhood, I can candidly say I had the best stepmom. She would let me take her enormous canvases, oil paints, and brushes and just let me at it. Of course at first they were all of my hand prints and rainbows, but she got me curious, and eventually we started going to museums. I've seen Vangogh, Monet, Divinci, Picasso, and many more as they toured through our city. I began to study their techniques and grow my gift. My "Mama Sue" gifted me a hunger for creativity and excellence, and I can't thank her enough. Painting with me, you will grow in your technique, skill, and confidence, and pick up a little artist history along the way.

I'm looking forward to meeting you and helping you accomplish your dreams!

About PATRICIA F.

I have 17 years teaching a language I love and want you to learn! Spanish lessons with me are unique and engaging because they center around your personal interests and language goals. I aim to take the mystery out of concepts and teach them in a straightforward manner. Tell me what your profession/hobby/sport/occupation is and what you want to do with your Spanish (e.g., prepare for a standardized test like the AP/IB exams), volunteer in your community where Spanish speakers abound, relate better to patients at your clinic, travel to a Spanish-speaking country, engage in a cultural exchange program, and I will tailor the lessons to facilitate your the application of the language. Becoming bilingual is fun and I hope to work with you soon!

About PATRICIA
I would be grateful for the opportunity to teach you Spanish, whether your current interests are guided by academic requirements, AP/IB Spanish Language test prep, or personal interest. My own Spanish language and cultural studies stemmed from a true desire to be able to communicate and connect with people with whom I did not share a common language or background. Sharing what I have learned about the Spanish language and cultures has become a personal and professional passion for me. Did you know that Spanish is the official language in 21 countries in the world? And, according to the TeleLanguage blog, "by 2050, the United States is expected to have 138 million Spanish speakers, making it the largest Spanish-speaking country in the world". There is no doubt about it: understanding, speaking, reading, and writing Spanish well are essenti

Learning Spanish could be easier and faster than you think...
If you want to learn or improve your Spanish skills, taking lessons with a native speaker is the way to go. I'm a native Spanish speaker who knows how to address students needs and provides efficient tutoring by evaluating the student's current level during the first talk and setting small goals that help to gain confidence.
Regardless of the student's age, there are always 2 things that make a lesson successful and valuable, and those are having fun while learning and practicing new concepts with examples that are interesting to the person.

About Augusto
