"Remote Learning that is NOT "Remote!"

My child has been taking piano lessons via "Take Lessons" since September of this year. Living in a small community
of under 5,000 people (located in New Brunswick, CANADA), we lost two music teachers over the summer months, due to them moving to larger centers. Our town of Hampton had approx. 60 music students who had to either give up their lessons or commute to larger communities to continue their learning.
We discovered reviews of "TakeLessons.com" and utilizing their database we found a great teaching mentor for our son. GFire was our choice of teacher, based on her profile description and recommendations. Both my son and I have been extremely pleased with the two-way communication, the positive feedback and the gentle/caring mentorship from GFire. My son has continued his music learning which has been a great boon to his overall cognitive learning and his confidence.
Austin, Texas is not so far away from Hampton, New Brunswick CANADA, ...at least it doesn't feel that way with music instructor GFire. :-)
Thank You"

"Adam is not only a great musician but a great person. I have worked with him professionally in the music industry, and although I've never taken lessons f
rom him, I have no doubt that his character and make up are the perfect ingredients to make a great instructor ."

"Over the past 20 years I have taken guitar lessons twice. The episodes were separated by 15 years. I was engaged and even intense about learning. Both
times ended in frustration and more important, failure. After only 5 lessons with Samuel Bean, I have learned to strum chords in time, learned several scales, 12 bar and 8 bar patterns and a bit of music theory. The result is playing to a level that provides personal satisfaction. I look forward to playing. So for you beginners and frustrated musicians out there, you know who you are, give it a try. I predict success."

r for a while before finding Josh and have been very pleased with the class and the progress my daughter has made. Josh really has a love for music that transfers well into the classroom. He is very patient with the students and puts effort into connecting with each of his students. We are very blessed to have found him and are grateful for foundation he is giving my daughter in music."

"Lisa Williams has been my daughter's 1st viola teacher for the past year and a half. What she has accomplished with her has been nothing short of amazing.
My daughter, Lillie, has progressed through the 1st 4 Suzuki book levels, & is preparing with Lisa to audition for the Phoenix Youth Symphony. Lisa quickly developed a rapport with Lillie & gave her the foundation for playing, reading music & understanding how to prepare for auditions. Lisa blends traditional approaches of classical music instruction & music theory with contemporary methods & musicality. She instills confidence through her teaching & positive reinforcement & gives effective critiques without negativity. Lisa is a consummate professional who cares about her students & her passion for music is infectious. Lisa challenges Lillie & as a result, she can't wait to play new music & learn new scales. Lisa has also inspired Lillie to help her friends with tuning & technique at school. :). Great teacher & better person."

"Michael is doing a great job getting me started on my piano journey. The exercises and drills he is teaching me have helped me feel comfortable at the key
board. I've even learned a song already, after just 2 lessons!
Highly recommended."

"I'm a new student to Aimee, but have played guitar for years. My goal is to learn some music theory, understand chord progressions and positions, improve
technique, and learn how to learn songs: how to break them down into chunks, so it's not overwhelming. It's already clear that she and I are going down that path. Best of all, she is patient, which should be incredibly important to any student."
