Sulina Baek is a good teacher that I had the fortune of working with over the past 2-3 months. She is patient and gives useful coaching tips to improve technique. At the same time, I never felt overwhelmed with too much information during our lessons. Sulina kept everything manageable and actionable and that helped me make a lot of progress. Thus we often covered a lot of ,music lesson, and frequently ran out of time. She is also very knowledgeable in canon and in theory, which has helped me figure out what standard to aim at during my own practice. Sulina helped me turn my motivation into audible results.

I came to USA at age of 15 and learned English in Mid-West most of my life. I love using idioms in both language. In Korean up-to-dated direct translation of "you're welcome" is "what?" why? because they meant "oh no what are you talking about? don't mention it"
Let's learn the language while having fun. Take a lesson from me.

About Johan
Johan here and I love music! Nice to meet you fellow music lover.

I have been involved in music since I was just a child. It started with learning piano, then guitar, ukulele, mandolin, harmonica, djembe and so many more.

I’ve continued to learn and perfect my craft by being apart of different types of bands from small to large with varying genres of music. I also formalized my music education with a bachelor of Art in Music. Did I mention I’m also quite a harmonizer? Sign up today and maybe I’ll throw in some tips with your instrument lesson.

Johan is great with kids! My son is a very active child, and he was able to make the lesson fun and engaging. More than that, I enjoyed seeing Johan be creative, listen to the child, and make music fun, more than being it a lesson (per say). I highly recommend Johan!

I will be your encouraging teacher. I am looking forward to meeting you & helping you to develop your Korean skills.

About Jiny
Hello ~ This is Jiny! I was born and raised in South Korea and am now teaching the world about my native language and culture.

Jiny is an amazing tutor!! There are not enough good words I can say about her. She is very thoughtful, caring, fun, and just a great tutor. I feel like I hit the jackpot with her as a tutor. She makes the class fun and exciting. You can see she really cares about her students and wants to see them grow. You can also see that she loves teaching Korean. Jiny is very flexible with her teaching style, she changed her lesson plan, so that I could learn in a better way and I’m great full for that. I was told that I would never learn a foreign language in school, because of my learning disability and now I’m learning my first foreign language. I know now more then 300 words, I’m learning the grammar rules, I’m making my own sentences, and I’m having basic conversations with Korean people. This is all because of Jiny and all the hard work she puts into each class. I’m excited to take more classes with her and to learn more. I would recommend her to anyone who wants to learn Korean.
