Beginner to intermediate.
Mandolin is mostly known for bluegrass, but in the last few years it's become quite prominent in country, as well as other genres. It's a very fun instrument, once one gets used to the size.
Mandolin lessons mostly entail building a chord
vocabulary, and maybe learning a basic scale or two. After that students are ready to learn tons of songs.

Singing is my specialty! I've studied vocal performance for 12 years now, singing everything from Broadway musicals, to jazz, and opera. Aside from my performing experience, I've carefully studied the anatomy and physics of singing well, and how to get that knowledge across clearly in a one-on-one session. In these lessons, I guarantee that you will notice improvements quickly.

About Lance

Ever been told that you’re "a little pitchy," or that you “just need to give it more support?” Tips like these often leave people frustrated because they don’t actually give anyone a plan for improvement. In my lessons we will focus on real, specific issues, and make sure you have a great plan for

Lance has the aura of a true teacher. I was able to feel comfortable around him immediately. After only a few lessons he has provided me with numerous tips and tricks to improve my singing voice, and tailored the class to keep it fun and incorporate music that students select personally. Highly recommend!
Matt G.
Lance is a master teacher across a range of skills. He's just as good teaching you to sing an interval as he is suggesting chord progressions or analyzing song structure. At every step of the way, he is patient and enthusiastic, and has concrete, useful ideas about how to get you from A to B.

"It's been 3/4 year since we've been with her, and she is absolutely awesome! She totally earned my daughter's respect. Meeting a right teacher is so important because it took some time to correct the bad habit she aquired and continued that her previous teacher let go. "One of the best teachers I've ever had he was incredibly patient during the lessons and flexible on working around my schedule to make sure we got our weekly lesson in. Adam seems very astute & knowledgeable not just in guitar-playing but in music theory, which is exactly what I'm lookin for in an instructor. He's helping me correct a few bad habits I've developed over the years, on my own. The way he explains things is very simple & to the point. I definitely recommend him based on my first lesson. I'll see if I can update my review at some point in the future but unless something goes horribly wrong, I wouldn't anticipate much to changen"
