A few words from the teacher:

*** Lesson Details ***
I want you to improve. I want you to put time and be great at what you do. I truly love all my students and I want your happiness. As of teaching goes, I'll make sure to meet all your needs but it's you who can make a difference. I don't believe in talent , I believe in hard work and practice. everybody is born with the same blank canvas it's what you draw on it over time that matters. If you let me know that you have other things than music or you're maybe busy to practice a lot, I'll give less things to practice after every 3 month ( what I call a semester) you can choose songs to record in my home studio. I don't have a fancy studio but I have enough equipment to record and edit demo songs. I'd love my students to participant in talent shows and I'm always looking to put you out there in the real world of music.

*** Studio Equipment ***
Any thing a student and their parents might need.

*** Travel Equipment ***
I can bring my guitar to accompany but the student needs to also provide their own instrument. I will also need the voice students to have a keyboard or a piano as a lot of voice technique exercises need the piano accompaniment.

*** Specialties ***
I'm professionally an electric guitarist.. Started with classic guitar and then changed genre to rock and metal and then started exploring jazz but I consider myself a rock solo guitarist with some spices of jazz and i still play classical. I'm also a pop/rock singer with flavors of jazz and I've been singing classic music as well.

She is kind, patient, flexible, and most importantly she listens to what your desires are and adjusts her style to meet those needs. She is also very good at explaining the importance of traditional exercises and does an excellent job of presenting those in a way that is a very comfortable way to learn.

While studying at ARC I bumped into Maryam. Upon realizing that she was a music major the topic quickly escalated to focus of degree. At the time, composition was what Maryam was pursuing. After listening to some of her creations, I realized that I had never seen such talent at a junior college. Selecting Maryam from the rest of the pack will forever change yours and your child's lives. She is a fine musician and is very easy to talk to. All the while songwriting and composing is her specialty and she is the best that I know.

I was honestly speechless during my first lesson! Daniel G is the person I have been looking for in a long time. Daniel G is a great teacher! He has such a powerful and controlled voice and what a great personable guy! I just recorded a song tonight and I can already hear and feel a difference. After my voice changed, I kept getting frustrated trying to find the right teacher. I actually think I learned and improved more from my first lesson with Daniel than weeks with others. I'm almost hesitant to write this review in fear Daniel will have less time with me. 8-)

About Nick
Hi there. Thank you for stopping by to see me. I want to let you know that, if you want to make all of your classes go easier, I am here to show you how. I have developed a way to teach you how to learn with more ease. So you spend less time worrying and fighting the assignments and more time enjoying what you’re learning and more free time to do other important things. My system has taken me 35 years of teaching to develop. I have successfully taught hundreds of students, both here and overseas. I believe there is more than one way to explain math concepts so that if a student doesn't grasp t
he way it is presented in class, I can find an alternate way of explaining it.

I am a member of Math Club and also a student again myself as a senior math major at CSUN with references from five of my professors. So I know clearly what you experience on the "students side" of the classroom. If we don’t make a good match, there will be no charge for the first session. Let’s meet!

About Lilia
Hello, my name is Lilia and I can't wait to meet you! I have a diverse background in teaching and offer private lessons in guitar, piano, and voice with a balance between theory, technique, and and ear training to help you play the songs you love to listen to.

Some background info on me:
I graduated from California Institute of the Arts in December 2014 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Guitar Performance. I started teaching dance and gymnastics while attending Palomar college in San Diego in 2011, then transferred to CalArts in 2012 and worked as a college writing tutor and a part-time dance an
d music teacher. After graduating from CalArts in 2014, I began working full-time as a music teacher and professional performing artist in the greater Los Angeles area and perform in San Diego and the San Fransisco Bay Area as well. In addition to teaching, I play the role of as the lead vocalist, guitarist, and composer in my rock band, called Karkaza. We are currently working on recording our debut album and playing shows in the greater Los Angles area.

My favorite part of teaching is knowing that I helped the student have a better day and give them a rewarding activity to look forward to every week. Feel free to reach out any time, and I am excited to help you play the music you love!
