About Brian
I've been teaching middle school math for over 15 years and have tutored in math from first grade through pre-calculus for over 12 years. I enjoy explaining ideas and concepts in practical, real-life
ways to help with understanding. I feel it is not always about the correct answer, but the correct process. I have years of experience working with English-language learners and students with IEPs. I believe that building confidence is the fastest way to build knowledge. Along with content, I work with students on how to take notes, ask questions, test anxiety, and organization.
