My background as a player is diverse. I studied blues, rock, funk, country, and jazz styles at Berklee College of Music, and since moving to Nashville I have primarily made my living as a professional performer of these styles. I have traveled all over the country and gained valuable experience in many different playing situations and environments. I hope to pass on these experiences to you!
Helping students achieve goals regarding musical technique, personal creativity, and self confidence is a personal mission for Caleb and loves to teach in a personal, hands on approach.

Tim began playing harmonica at the age of thirteen. In addition to the guidance and nurturing he received from his musical family, Tim studied with harmonica greats Cary Bell and Jerry Portnoy. He also completed courses in music while earning his bachelor’s degree with honors from Kent State University in Ohio. In addition to harmonica, Tim is a fine singer, songwriter and guitarist. An expert blues player, he is also accomplished in the folk, rock and country genres. Before moving to Nashville in 2015, Tim was regarded as one of the finest harmonica players in New England.

That is not to say that he is not constantly challenging you. But he does it in a way all great teachers do; he communicates efficiently and effectively. Hence, it's pretty easy, if you put in the time, to make incredible strides with your harp playing. Highly recommend signing up!

Keep your harp handy, listen to Tim, give it 10 minutes 3x a day, and you’ll be “killing it” in no time. But, it’s all about the process, and Tim makes it fun! Look no further.
My only regret is that I am unable to give Tim 6 stars!

There is so much I have learned from my formal education in music but I also think it is important to recognize how much music can teach us about life. I have gotten to meet so many amazing people and have performed at some awesome places here in Nashville such as the Ryman Auditorium and the Wildhorse Saloon. All of my experiences with music have been invaluable and humbling. I think that a teacher is successful when they have helped a student progress not only as a musician, but as a human being
Rock on! :-)
