My name is Jamie and I'm offering guitar lessons in and around Nashville. I'm a professional musician and guitar teacher, fluent in jazz, rock, country, blues, folk styles and more. I teach lessons out of my home studio in Nashville. I live in a quiet family neighborhood and there is a sitting/waiting room attached to the studio should parents of younger students wish to stay during a lesson.
I teach electric and acoustic guitar, as well steel guitar and slide. My teaching goals are catered to each individual student to help them get what they want from their lessons, whether that's learning to accompany themselves, learn their favorite songs, or write their own!
I have taught individual and group lessons for private students as well as school groups including classical and corps ensembles of all ages.
I take pride in my personable and professional demeanor and understand the challenges of developing talent at different skill levels. I work to provide individualized lesson plans for every student that suit their interests and ambitions.
