My young age of 18 makes me easy to connect to but don't mistake age for inexperience. I have played professionally in the Orchestra of Toronto, The Greater Toronto Philharmonic Orchestra, North York Symphony Orchestra, London Youth Philharmonic Orchestral Project, and I conduct the Toronto Philharmonic Orchestra Project. I also work professionally for the York University Symphony Orchestra, the York university Theatre Department, St Michael's College Music Department and the St Michael's College Theatre. All of these in a professional capacity either giving lessons, playing in symphony orchestras or musicals, or conducting or composing.
I have a very practical real world experience being a professional classical and theatre musician/conductor/composer. I can bring unique and valuable information that could be hard to come by.
I like to be picky and specific when it comes to all things music but understanding as long as effort is put in. I have real world composition, conducting and performance experience that I am always more then happy to share. I have played professionally in the Orchestra of Toronto, The Greater T

Learn from a born musician. I learned to play the piano when I was a child by ear. I would listen to a song I really liked and pick notes on the piano until it was identical. That skill developed over time helped me learn the saxophone with great ease and musicality.
During grade school, I was selected to be in all-county, all-state, and tri-state competitions for saxophone. I then went on to study music at FSU School of Music. I am a professional saxophone player who loves to help share the appreciation of music with those who have a desire.
In my lessons, you will learn techniques on how to best play the saxophone and read music (sight reading) and learn ear training techniques. We will study some theory and history depending on your level. Students will be expected to perform a selection of pieces in succession for an online concert periodically. We will have fun, but we will make progress. The main thing I want to leave you within your consideration of me as your teacher is ...

If a parent of a teenager needs the way to invest money and time wisely to shape their child's future Guitar Lessons with Daniel is the ultimate best decision!
My teenager son has been spending more time playing the guitar than on his cell phone/iPad and has developed a healthier lifestyle working on his skills.
We have found Daniel amongst hundreds of other teachers online but deciding on him was primarily caused by his patience, professionalism, the sense of humor and just the amount of fun my son is having.
You will get every cent invested in his lessons thousand times back in satisfaction of having your child enjoying their new hobby.
Absolutely recommended, thank you, Daniel!!!"
Many parents aren't sure how to best support their child in learning a new instrument. Guitar teacher Dylan P. shares his tips for parents to encourage their children to fall in love with the guitar... You can’t teach a child to love the guitar. You can lead them there, but they have to find it themselves. For a kid, guitar is a hard instrument to play. They have to dig their fingers into steel strings, make indents, and get calluses.
